Isn’t it wild how the wedding day seems to fly by in just a blink? One moment, you’re walking down the aisle, and the next, you’re waving goodbye as the newlywed couple. As beautiful as the day is, it also passes quickly.
While the day might zoom past, the memories don’t have to. With some creativity and keepsakes, you can hold onto that magic for a lifetime.
In today’s post, we’re sharing the top five things you might want to save from your big day. Think of them as little time capsules that can take you right back to that special moment years later.
Ready? Let’s dive in!
Isn’t it amazing how a piece of fabric can hold so much emotion and memory? Yes, that’s right! Your wedding dress is one you picked after perhaps trying dozens, the one that made you feel like a queen. And that veil? It added the final touch of magic. Together, they symbolize your unique bridal beauty and the love you celebrate.
Now, let’s ensure that they remain as fresh as your memories. For this, get your dress professionally cleaned. If you’re unsure where to start, look for local professionals.
Let’s suppose you are in Toronto. A quick online search like “wedding dress cleaning toronto” should point you in the right direction. The pros will know how to handle those delicate fabrics and other details. And do you know what’s the best part? They can help you store the dress in preservation kits, protecting it from moisture.
Do you remember your excitement when you first sent out those wedding invitations and save-the-dates? It wasn’t just about informing people about the when and where. It was more like announcing to the world about your wedding.
But how do you keep that memory fresh? Well, you can frame them and put them up on your wall or your bedside table. And every morning, when you wake up, they’ll remind you of that special day.
Another way is to tuck them into a wedding scrapbook. You can add photos, little notes, and other keepsakes alongside your invites.

Your wedding day is one of the most special moments in your life, and looking your absolute best is a top priority. While the dress, hair, and venue all play an essential role, your eye makeup can truly make or break your overall bridal look. So, let’s dive into the world of wedding day eye makeup and discover how to master it like a pro.
Before you even think about applying eyeshadow or eyeliner, it’s crucial to prep your eyelids properly. Begin by cleansing your face and applying a mattifying luxury face cream. This cream will keep your skin matte and flawless, ensuring your eye makeup lasts all day and night. To further enhance your look without the hassle of glue, consider using self-adhesive false eyelashes, which are easy to apply and comfortable to wear.”
Once your skin is prepped, reach for an eyeshadow primer. This magical potion will create a smooth canvas for your eyeshadow, helping it adhere better and prevent creasing. A primer also ensures that your eye makeup stays put throughout the emotional rollercoaster that is your wedding day.
When it comes to eyeshadow, blending is the name of the game. Choose soft, neutral tones that complement your bridal attire and theme. Whether you opt for a classic smoky eye or a natural look, make sure to blend your eyeshadow seamlessly for a polished finish.
Your wedding day is bound to be emotional, and there might be a few tears of joy (or maybe a lot). To avoid panda eyes, opt for waterproof mascara and eyeliner. This way, you can dance, laugh, and cry without worrying about your eye makeup smudging or running.

Today I am taking you back to spring, when the sun shone and an abundance of pastel flowers were on show around the countryside, as I feature ‘In Full Bloom’ this gorgeous styled shoot from Ellie Mac. The shoot took place on 15th May 2023 at Evenley Wood Gardens in Northamptonshire. The colours in this shoot are so pretty, a flower filled plethora of pastels. Pinks, lilacs, peaches all looks so gorgeous against the woodland backdrop, bringing spring out in it’s fullest. The table scape looks fantastic with the hanging lanterns really adding to the dramatic look. As for the outfits, this couple looks super stylish, bringing a modern vibe to the whole shoot.
