'In Full Bloom' Flower Filled Modern Woodland Wedding Inspiration

Today I am taking you back to spring, when the sun shone and an abundance of pastel flowers were on show around the countryside, as I feature ‘In Full Bloom’ this gorgeous styled shoot from Ellie Mac. The shoot took place on 15th May 2023 at Evenley Wood Gardens in Northamptonshire. The colours in this shoot are so pretty, a flower filled plethora of pastels. Pinks, lilacs, peaches all looks so gorgeous against the woodland backdrop, bringing spring out in it’s fullest. The table scape looks fantastic with the hanging lanterns really adding to the dramatic look. As for the outfits, this couple looks super stylish, bringing a modern vibe to the whole shoot.

Evenley Wood Gardens is a gorgeous location close to where I live. The woodland is blooming with different flowers and trees each month of the year. May is a particularly spectacular month with an array of Rhododendron flowers giving a beautiful bright back drop. I wanted to have a play with some slightly different funky wedding outfits set against these bright blooms.

The inspiration was the stunning rhododendron flowers which bloom throughout May and June in the Woods along with an array of other pastel toned blooms. The strong florals with a naturally stunning backdrop were the initial inspiration to create this shoot.

I wanted to create an eclectic unique style which saw funky editorial inspired outfits meeting with a whimsical nature themed backdrop. Not necessarily a natural partnership but one that bought a unique twist which was accomplished with the help of some very funky models and amazing suppliers.
