Taylor and John’s Dog Friendly Intimate Rustic Wedding by Madison Paige Photo

Happy Monday everyone I hope you all had a good weekend, did you manage to make the most of the lovely weather? Can you believe this glorious sunshine in October, truly wonderful! I am taking you to Tennessee today for the charming wedding of Taylor and John who were married on 9th April 2023 in Joelton, Tennessee. The wedding is intimate, emotional, rustic and full of  gorgeous simple details. I just love the dusty pink colour scheme running through the day, the hand embroidered  cape, the draping on the ceremony backdrop, the flowers, all so so pretty! If you are looking for a simple, rustic, yet elegant day then look no further. Big thanks to Madison Paige Photo for the lovely images.

Madi the photographer tells us more about the day

Taylor and John’s intimate spring rustic wedding day at Hachland Hill was such a dreamy day and I’m so happy that I got to be there to capture it! From the stunning location, to the intentional details and emotional moments; this wedding day is one that I will never forget. Hachland Hill’s wedding venue is the perfect location for an intimate rustic wedding, nestled just outside of Nashville. The serenity of the woodlands surrounding the property made it so easy to disconnect from the outside world and escape into the magic of Taylor and John’s wedding day.

The rustic wedding day started with Taylor and her incredibly sweet bridal party getting ready in the guest house at Hachland Hill- and her bridal party just happened to include her 4 rescue dogs as well! Taylor got her hair and makeup done with one of her fur babies on her lap while the other three pups waited excitedly close by.
Just across the property, John and his groomsmen were getting ready and relaxing after playing a round of golf together earlier in the day! The fun and relaxed vibe that they started their day with carried with them throughout the entire afternoon, they were all so supportive and ready to celebrate John and Taylor!

Taylor and John’s first look was such a beautiful and intimate moment for the two of them. As everyone else made their way down to the meadow for their ceremony, Taylor and John stayed back for a moment of privacy during their first look. John waited for Taylor at the base of the river as she giddily walked up to tap him on the shoulder.
Taylor showed off her hand-sewn floral cape and John’s eyes welled up with tears as he looked at his beautiful wife-to-be. After a few long hugs and adoring glances, it was time for Taylor and John to exchange their private vows to each other.
Exchanging private vows is such a beautiful way to express your love and devotion to your partner in an intimate setting; just the two of you. It’s a moment free from distractions, where the business of the day disappears, and it’s just you and your partner taking a moment to get grounded and focus on exactly why you’re there today.

I know that they’ll look back on these images and all of the emotions will come flooding back to them for years to come as they remember the sweet words that they exchanged and the feelings of pure love and happiness that radiated through them.

Every detail about Taylor and John’s rustic wedding day was just such a perfect reflection of the two of them and the life that they have created together. It was filled with so much love, joy, music, laughter, and most importantly- so many dogs! It was a day that I won’t forget, and I’m so grateful that the two of them trusted me with capturing this chapter in their story together!
