James and Charlotte's Enchanted Woodland Wedding in Cheshire by Creek and Country

Charlotte and James decided they wanted to incorporate both their love for the outdoors and their love for the city, so they held their weddinging in two parts. The first half was a chilled outdoor ceremony in the most gorgeous woodland setting in Cheshire, complete with the most stunning macramé backdrop. This was followed by a trip on a big red wedding bus into Chester city centre for their reception. Their wedding was on 16th June 2023 and it was HOT! the outdoor ceremony was the perfect location, set in the shade of the woodland, so the couple could hide from the 30 degree summer heat. This wedding is so chilled and full of the most wonderful decoration and of course this very happy couple. Big thanks to Creek & Country Photo & Film for the lovely photos.

Charlotte & James wanted to combine their love for the outdoors and their love for their home city of Chester, England by splitting their wedding day in two parts. We began at Charlotte & James’ home in the city where her neighbours provided an impromptu send off song on the street before hopping on a big red bus to the Cheshire countryside for the ceremony.
We all arrived together at the woodlands and thankfully there was some welcome shade from the 30 degree blazing sun! People mingled, drank (they were pre drinking on the bus) and generally enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.

The ceremony was absolutely wonderful and emotional, Charlotte & James both wrote and read their own vows to each other and there weren’t many dry eyes in the crowd after that. From there we got some amazing couples photos in the Forest before jumping back on the bus to their reception venue back in Chester, which at this point was more of a party bus than anything!
The venue Charlotte & James chose for their meal and evening do was in the city centre and had a cool rooftop area that was booked out just for them and the guests. I had a lovely time capturing this wedding and it was really fun to mix it up and go from city to woodlands back to the city!
