I love a wedding when the couple really make the day about themselves! Today’s wedding is one of those. Hannah and Jonah originally planned a classic black and white wedding in the Florida Keys, keeping it traditional However a few weeks before the wedding they completely changed it up and opted for bright coloured wild flowers and lots of disco balls. They chose a DJ for their entertainment and partied all night on the beach listening to house music! I love this idea, keeping things fluid and going with your gut and making big brave changes when you feel it’s the right thing to do. I just love the results, the bright flowers are just stunning, the colours really pop against the beach backdrop. As for the disco balls, in my opinion, you can never get enough disco balls! We skipped all the major wedding traditions. Our day was about having plain old fun, listening to house music, and dancing the night away with our closest friends.
Hannah and Jonah were married on 14th January 2023 at Casa Marina Key West. Hannah and Jonah stated that their vision for their wedding day was “beach disco party”. The couple wanted their guests to let loose and party with them in the sun…what better place than the Florida, Keys? Casa Marina has many different event spaces but the couple was especially drawn to its secluded beach. Hannah worked with her florist to bring bright colourful flowers to the sandy beaches of Casa Marina! They had 70 guests and it took 10 months to plan.

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend? What did you get up to? Mine was pretty chilled, met up with Nik’s family on Saturday afternoon, then Saturday night my best friend came round for a Chinese takeaway. Sunday I took Dexter to the cinema and did some shopping. All pretty low key! It is now half term, so the joys of juggling work and child care, something I’m sure many of you are also doing! That takes is to today’s wedding which is a rather glamorous affair! Emily and Victor were married on 1st September 2023 in Jonestown Texas, they held a gorgeous, elegant wedding, which was decorated in stunning white wildflowers. However they added a huge pop of colour by asking the wedding guests to dress in bold bright colours. the whole day looks not only chic and elegant but full of fun and love. Happy Friday everyone! Well we all may be dodging the snow out there at the moment, with this cold February weather, but today I am bringing you a lovely dose of sunshine to hurry spring along, with this gorgeous Mediterranean inspired styled shoot. The shoot took place at The Stables in York ‘Taking inspiration from Amalfi coast weddings to bring citrus fruits, blue & white tiling, Italian cocktails and a warm, romantic vibe.’ This shoot is just what we need at the moment, lovely spring colours, bursts of yellow, accents of blue and lots of lush greenery.
