Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend? What did you get up to? Mine was pretty chilled, met up with Nik’s family on Saturday afternoon, then Saturday night my best friend came round for a Chinese takeaway. Sunday I took Dexter to the cinema and did some shopping. All pretty low key! It is now half term, so the joys of juggling work and child care, something I’m sure many of you are also doing! That takes is to today’s wedding which is a rather glamorous affair! Emily and Victor were married on 1st September 2023 in Jonestown Texas, they held a gorgeous, elegant wedding, which was decorated in stunning white wildflowers. However they added a huge pop of colour by asking the wedding guests to dress in bold bright colours. the whole day looks not only chic and elegant but full of fun and love. Ashley the planner tells us more about the day

Emily & Victor went to the same high school in Arlington, TX and Victor happened to be one of Emily’s friends older brother! Their love for each other and their inseparableness sparked at a UT Austin frat party, and a few years later, Victor popped the question in Austin, which then became the perfect location for their happily ever after, at Villa Antonia.

They are both super easy going, positive people and wanted their wedding to be really fun and a celebration to finally mesh all of their friends and families! They encouraged all of their guests to get fancy with them and as their wedding day marked the end of summer, they asked guests to wear fun, summery colours. “We love colour and all the joy it brings and can’t wait to capture everlasting moments with each of you in your fabulous outfits!”

But amongst all of the colour, white wildflowers were the centre of attention as Fleur Affair showcased a unique and fresh take on white florals – between the open growing wildflower arch, to the arrangements on the stunning signage, to the crisp bud vases amongst the table tops, this wedding was a showstopper.

Ashley Nicole Affair assisted in helping bring all of the details together, but Emily & Victor’s wedding was more or less a family affair, as an aunt made their wedding & grooms cake, a friend was the DJ, and multiple members of the family got together to make custom cantarito cups for signature drinks. From the mariachi band to the cold sparks exit, this wedding was glamorous, colourful and full of love and joy!
