I was lucky enough to take a trip on one, years ago when Nik and I had just started dating, I bought it as a present for him, and it was an amazing experience, something I would love to do again. So when I saw this beautiful styled shoot land in my inbox, I knew I had to share it with you. The whole shoot is based around a hot air balloon. The shoot took place in Indianapolis, Indiana, on 28th September 2021. It showcases some wonderful boho hot air balloon wedding inspiration for your big day. Bridal Style: Pre-wedding Skincare Tips For Glowing Wedding Skin

Prepping skin for the wedding day is perhaps one of the most crucial beauty steps before the big day. Every bride and groom wants to feel beautiful and confident on the wedding day, but the skin may have a different plan. So before you panic and purchase every skin product in sight, make sure to check our pre-wedding skin care plan and be the prettiest of them all!

5 Steps: Pre-wedding Skincare Tips For Glowing Wedding Skin

Step One – Create A Routine That Works For You

Let’s be honest, our skin will always have some texture, pores, wrinkles or acne. And the first step of this journey is accepting that these little flaws and imperfections are a part of us and we can still feel beautiful and confident now and forever.

So whether you’re living with acne or wrinkles, rosacea, eczema or any of the hundreds of skin conditions people may have, it is the right time to accept that and manage your expectations for the big day and get your skin in prime condition.

This will not only make the pre-wedding plan more realistic and easier but you can prep for your wedding makeup with specific goals, such as increasing collagen and elastin in the skin, hydrating the skin properly or reducing acne to the lowest you can.

Claudia and Connor’s Dusty Blue DIY Wedding in York by Amy Jordison Photography

Happy Monday everyone, and how are you all this fine Monday? Was your weekend filled with wedding activities? Did you go to a wedding? Maybe you got married? This is such a busy summer for weddings after the last 2 years! My weekend was lovely, pretty chilled but it was much needed. Dexter and I went to the theatre on Saturday to see School of Rock, which was brilliant! And Sunday of course we watched the football!!! On with today’s wedding and it’s the turn of Claudia and Connor who chose a DIY blue themed wedding in beautiful York. They wanted a laid back day, full of relaxed vibes and lots of personal details and projects. The day is full of sunshine, smiles and lots of fun, big thanks to Amy Jordison Photography for the photos.

It truly was the best day of our life and we wish we could do it all over again.

Claudia and Connor were married on 28th May 2022 at Aldby Park, Buttercrambe in York. ‘We were viewing a different location in York and it was suggested to view a different venue called Aldby Park. We knew it was the perfect venue for us when were first saw it. It has the most stunning gardens and so much space to explore. We loved that it was so different to what we initially were looking for but loved all the open space. It even has a zip wire across the river Derwent. It simply fell perfectly into our dream wedding. We had 80 day guests and 130 even guests. It probably took about 1 and a half years to plan. we started as soon as we go engaged.’

Wedding Inspiration: Personalised Wedding Gift Ideas

For the majority of couples, a gift registry is commonplace (or alternatively, a gift of money to go towards their honeymoon). Whether they already have a registry set up or not, you can still add a thoughtful touch to your gift by personalising it. Decorative items are lovely to receive, but some of the most popular personalised gifts tend to be both useful and beautiful: think kitchenware, or personalised luggage, or even a pair of Personalised Number Plates adorned with their wedding date that serves as a lasting reminder of their special day. If you’re stuck for ideas, here are 10 of the best.

A Personalised Cookbook

Splattered with pasta sauce, covered in fingerprints and passed down through the generations, the best family cookbooks may not look too pretty, but for many families they are treasured heirlooms. For culinary couples, a sturdy, embossed recipe book is one of the best personalised gifts to treasure.

Their Own Holiday Decoration

Even if it only makes an appearance once a year, smiles will be guaranteed each time they see it. From charming hand-carved wooden ornaments to delicate baubles, a personalised holiday decoration is perfect, especially if they’re getting hitched during the festive season.

Georgie and Sam’s Intimate and Relaxed Beach Side Micro Wedding by Joan Jellett

Happy Friday everyone! I can’t believe it’s Friday already and Week 1 of the summer holidays is done! I’ve now just about recovered from my trip to Disney and am currently planning my next trip back there, it was a truly magical few days! But I am now looking forward to the weekend. I am taking Dexter to the theatre on Saturday to watch School of Rock and on Sunday we are off to York Maze for a day out……fun times all round! What about you? Anything wedding related?? Today I am taking you to Poole for this super chilled micro wedding, full of fun and laughter and a whole lot of love. Georgie and Sam wanted a relaxed day with just a handful of close friends and relatives, no fuss just smiles and great company. Such a lovely day, big thanks to Joan Jellett for the fabulous photos.

A day filled with love, laughter, family and friends. A relaxed, fun-filled day that was perfect for us in every way.’

Georgie and Sam were married on 10th June 2022, ‘We held our ceremony at Poole Registry Office – The Guildhall with a lovely registrar named Sue. We then went on to The Pig On The Beach in Studland for our reception (with a stop off at Shell Bay Beach to raise a glass on route). Poole/ Studland are very special places for us both. Sam and all of his family are from Poole. I grew up visiting Shell Bay/ Studland on weekends and went to Bournemouth University so have also known the area for most of my life. There were 13 of us in total for the duration of the day (plus Joan, our lovely photographer). We had always planned to do a smaller, more intimate wedding with our family’s before our big wedding (2 weeks later at Tunnels Beaches in Devon). This day was a lot more relaxed and had taken a couple of weeks to pull together with a few surprises thrown in too!’
