Today’s beautiful wedding sees us head off to sunny Florida for this gorgeous beach wedding. Brooke and Zebulon who are from Michigan, chose Florida as Brooke’s father lives in Siesta and what a perfect location. The couple chose a boho disco theme, mixing muted natural tones with all things glitter balls. The ceremony beach area is pure perfection with the most gorgeous arbor set against the ocean backdrop. As for the reception area, Wow! So many amazing decoration details, the flowers, the mini disco balls, it all looks stunning. Of course Brooke and Zebulon steel the show, what a handsome couple they make. Big thanks to Arianna J Photographer for the gorgeous photos.
Brooke and Zebulon were married on 28th January 2023 at Sunset Beach Resort in Siesta Key, Florida. ‘Brookes father lives on siesta and I loved the idea of having my whole wedding party stay right on the beach in an intimate setting. We had 150 guests and it took a year to plan.’

Hello Monday! How are you doing you lovely people? I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. What did you get up to? I had a weekend of dancing at the Woodland Disco Festival, 10 hours of dance music with my good friends. There were glitter balls, sequins and lots of fun! After a fab weekend I am now ready for a busy week at Boho HQ. I have lots of lovely weddings to share with you starting with the gorgeous wedding of Ryley & Alley who were lucky enough to get married at Alley’s family’s property. The day started with a beautiful outdoor ceremony, classic, simple and full of boho charm. It then moved onto the clear marquee where they had speeches a-plenty and then partied all night. The whole day had an elegant and timeless white and green colour scheme, which suited the couple perfectly. They both looked stunning and radiated love throughout the day. Big thanks to Lonely Hunter Photography for the gorgeous images.

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have all had a good week so far. It’s been a busy one here at Boho HQ, the school strikes have jumbled up my working week, but I am back at my desk today, while Nik takes Dexter out on a bike ride. This weekend Nik and I are off to a disco festival. Dance music in a wood! There promises to be amazing music and lots of glitter and sequins! It’s looking like rain at the moment, so we are currently doing a sun shine dance and sending as many good weather vibes out as we can! I will report back on Monday. Today though I have the bright and beautiful, colour filled wedding of Logan and Sydney, who were married on 10th September 2022 at Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The first thing I noticed about this wedding is Logan’s salmon pink suit and their super cute dog. The raw emption and love between them is just adorable! Big thanks to Focus on the Moment Photography for capturing the day for us.

For today’s wedding I am taking you to sunny California for the stunning wedding of Cali and Ramiro, who were married on 9th October 2022 at Carpinteria, in Santa Barbara. The wedding features classic decoration with a boho twist, from the beautiful table decor to the wicker lampshades. A colour scheme of white and pale green, gives a clean modern look, coupled with the soft blooms and natural greenery. I just love the simple beach ceremony followed by the gorgeous outdoor reception, simply stunning! Big thanks to Talia Eliana Events for sending me this delightful submission and to Cait & Co. Photo for the delightful photos.

Planning a wedding can be hard and sometimes stressful! After all most people have never done it before, so today I am here to offer you some words of wedding planning wisdom. When you start to plan your wedding, it can be easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. That’s why it’s wise to have some sort of plan in place, so you know what needs planning and when. This will make the whole process a lot easier, smoother and ultimately quicker.
So what are some of the earliest decisions you might want to get out of the way? Let’s take a look.
This might be the very first thing, because you need to do everything else around this, and you also need to give your guests as much Save the Date warning as you possibly can. Once you know your date and you have it set in stone, you can then move on to planning and booking everything else, but without it, it is all just a theory. So think carefully about the date, make sure there are no huge clashes, and consider the weather in your area too. These are factors you won’t want to overlook.
Before you go any further you really need to think about how much money you have to spend on the wedding. Have you already got some savings? Or are you going to need to save to host your dream day? Will your family be helping out financially? If so how much? All these financial questions need to be considered before you go looking at venues and suppliers, as you need to know how much you can spend. There is no point looking at big expensive venues if your budget is more suited to a village hall or hosting the wedding at home. Remember, the biggest expense is going to come from your guests, i.e the size of the venue to put them in and the food to feed them with, so keeping your guest count down can really help with your cash flow.
