We are in the deepest depths of winter here in the UK, yesterday it was -3.5 degrees when I took Dexter to school, so I think we are all in need of some sunshine. So today I am whisking you off to the sunshine state for this Tropical California Wedding. Shirley and Ron were married on 23rd April 2021 at San Juan Capistrano, California. They held a tropical themed wedding with accents of gold pineapples that were dotted about their ceremony and reception area, as well as some gorgeous tropical greens and pinks. They held a gorgeous first look and even their dog made an entrance at the ceremony! Big thanks to Ella Merrill Photography for the fab photos.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you are all well and happy and have enjoyed a good weekend? Mine was pretty chilled, just what I needed, as I seem to have quite a few busy weekends coming up over the next couple of months. Saturday involved 14 8 year olds and a karaoke party, which wasn’t particularly chilled! But it was lots of fun! Then Saturday night my best friend came round, we had a Chinese and stayed up late drinking wine and putting the world to rights! Perfect! This week it is onwards and upwards, lots to do and my May wedding to focus on and get the last bits prepped and planned! What about you? What is on your wedding planning list? On with today’s wedding and it’s the turn of Gemma and Jake and their East Yorkshire Barn Wedding. I just love the celestial theme of this wedding, the barn decoration is just gorgeous, as for Gemma’s dress, she looks amazing, totally unique and full of style! Big thanks to unity bridal for the submission and to inspire photos for the photos.
Unique but classic
Gemma and Jake were married on 30th July 2022 at East Yorkshire barns Faxfleet. ‘We wanted an indoor outdoor wedding and a barn was perfect it’s also in between Hull and Leeds as we live in Leeds and our family live in Hull. We had 75 guests and it took 2 years to plan.’

Happy Friday everyone, I hope you are keeping well and are looking forward to the weekend? Mine looks to be pretty chilled. I have a birthday party to take Dexter to on Saturday then my best friend is coming over for a takeaway and a film in the evening, I’m hoping for some good weather on Sunday so we can get out for some fresh air! What do you have planned? Moving on with today’s wedding and I have the most gorgeous Virginia Wedding to finish the week with. With a colour palette of terracotta, this wedding is brimming with the most sumptuous decoration, the flowers are outstanding, what a statement they make! The terracotta pot table plan is inspired, I just love it and the bridesmaids’ terracotta dresses are stunning! Jordyn and Chad were married on 25th September 2021 at Colonial Beach in Virginia an it really is the most stunning of days! I’ve been writing this blog now for over 13 years, I have seen a lot of trends come ad go, great ideas and some not great! But recently I have come across the Audio Guest Book.
