Real Weddings: Jenny Packham and Vivienne Westwood against a gorgeous ibiza backdrop

As you all know by now I LOVE Ibiza! I got married there and from that Boho Ibiza was born, so I am now lucky enough to plan weddings for other couples in Ibiza.
I have got to know today’s photographer Ana Lui  pretty well over the last few months and have featured her several times on the blog. I love her work, it’s so soft, romantic and really emulates everything that an Ibiza wedding is all about, this wedding of Melissa and Grant Bell is no exception.

Where and when
The wedding and the reception took place on 30th May 2010 at Amante beach bar in Calla Llonga.

Outfits
Melissa wore Jenny Packham’Sabine’ an Ivory Satin 1920’s style dress with a Jenny Packhamheadband and crystal bangles. Grant wore a Vivienne Westwood Light Grey Suit with waistcoat, white Vivienne Westwood high collar shirt and grey Havaianas.
Melissa had two bridesmaids and their outfits came from Coast and John Lewis.

Ceremony
They had a short amount of non-religious readings and music and walked down to aisle to Nora Jones – Come away with me

Food
Fishcake starter, Fillet steak Main with Chocolate Sand dessert and a guest count of 32.

Entertainment
They  flew a friend over from the UK to DJ so they could choose the music before the wedding day, it also proved to be cheaper than hiring a local dj. They had Jamiroquai– Spend a lifetime with you, as the sun set over Sol Den Serra.

Do what you want and not to let others influence you, don’t try to please everyone. Please yourself as its your big day!

What would you say about Ana your photographer?
