Giacomo and Flavia’s Romantic and Fun Outdoor Wedding in Italy by Andrea Antohi

I do love a destination wedding, the sun, the relaxed vibe and the al fresco dinning, all add up to the perfect wedding combination. Today we head to Italy for the super chic wedding of Giacomo and Flavia. With a colour scheme of white, light pink and sage green, this wedding is soft, romantic and full of love. They go BIG with the flowers and fill the rest of the decoration with fairy lights and candles. With a stunning. emotion filled ceremony, this wedding is pure perfection, all finished off with one BIG old outdoor party! Fabulous! Big thanks Andrea Antohi for the gorgeous photos.

Moving and fun

Giacomo and Flavia were married on 3rd of July 2022 at Tenuta Pinto Mola di Bari, Italy. ‘It was the place that has thrilled us the most. We’re bound to Apulia. Tenuta Pinto, with its elegance and simplicity, meets our style and tastes. We had 90 guests and it took a year to plan.’

How they met
We met by chance in a small gig and it was love at first sight. We’ve been together for five years before getting married.

The proposal
It was during the lockdown when it was impossible to go out for a date. He kneeled down in front of me at home in the night of our anniversary.

How did you allocate your budget?
70% for ceremony and dinner, 15% for photography and video, 8% for the music and the rest for smaller expanses.

Where did you splurge and where did you save?
We splurged for the dinner and we saved for wedding favours, which where hand made by us.

How did you choose your photographer?
Andrea Antohi was recommended by Tenuta Pinto, we chose him after watching his beautiful works on the web.

Outfits
Suit by Zegna, shoes by Velasca. For the bride: dress by Atelier Emé, shoes by Anniel

Theme or colour scheme
White, light pink and sage green

Flowers
Roses, buttercup, eucalyptus

Decoration
Flowers, candles, fairy lights in Apulian Masseria style.

Food
Local food with meat and seafood, a buffet of desserts.

Wedding cake
A chocolate, berries and Chantilly cream millefeuille covered in cream, with flowers as a garnish.

Entertainment
A local band: we danced swing and 60s music and after the dinner a dj played disco music. During the dinner our friends arranged some games.

Who supplied the stationery?
Inviti chic, it was recommended by Tenuta Pinto.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We went to Paris and New York.

Personal touches
We made by ourselves seat markers and wedding favours.

Special moments
During the ceremony the arrival of the bride was very touching as well as the reading of the wedding vows and the dance with our parents. The party was very fun, all the guests danced together with us till 3 am!

Advice for other couples
Enjoy the day without seeking perfection.

Biggest surprise
We didn’t expect the speeches of our best men and maids of honour during the ceremony, they made us cry with joy.
