Happy Wednesday everyone and well done on getting to the middle of the week, I hope it’s a good one for everyone so far? Today I am sharing the most gorgeous styled shoot with you, The shoot took place on 27th February in Chetek, Wisconsin. It features an LGBTQ+ couple who are so obviously besotted with each other, it really is a joy to see. I love the use of the ‘Vintage Pop’ styling, the soft tones and muted colours, the decorations and the intimate feel the whole shoot has.

We talk a lot about weddings here on the blog and how to plan for the big day but what about planning for married life? Newlywed bliss is a wonderful thing, starting your lives together and enjoying this fresh phase of your lives. However to make the marriage work and last a life time there are many adjustments and changes within the first year of your marriage that you might want to prepare for. These transitions can offer a solid foundation for you and your loved one as you grow and overcome obstacles together. It’s you and your spouse against the world now — you’ve got this! Here are some things you can prepare for during your first year of marriage.
Holidays before your wedding may have been spent separately or between families. Now that you have started your own family, you may want to consider creating some new traditions. You should discuss options with your spouse and decide which holidays will be spent with what side of the family. This can help you learn to compromise and better understand what is to come.
You have probably discussed these issues before marriage, but sometimes they can slip through the cracks. When you’re in love and caught up with planning your big day, you can lose sight of your expectations for the rest of your lives.
Do you want children? When do you want to plan on having them? Are you going to take yearly vacations? How do you plan to budget for those? You can lay the groundwork for a successful marriage by discussing these issues honestly with your spouse, so everything is out in the open and you know what the other expects.

Today we are in South Carolina for the truly beautiful wedding of Colby and Zak who were married on 8th October 2021 at Westin Resort Hilton Head. This wedding is full of elegance, charm and is bang on wedding trend in so many ways. The stunning ceremony backdrop filled with metallic edging and the most amazing flowers. The table decoration in the reception area with jaw dropping flower architecture, as well as the most stunning table set ups. The happy couple and their huge wedding party, all looking super stylish. So many reasons to love this wedding, I’m sure you will agree. Big thanks to IVS Photography for the gorgeous photos.

Welcome along to another fabulous week on the blog, I hope you all had a good weekend? Mine was pretty chilled, but thoroughly enjoyable. With Halloween, bonfire night and then Christmas coming up the next few months are jam packed, so I am making the most of these last few weeks before silly season starts and every weekend is taken up with seasonal activities. So today I am taking you to Nashville for this boho inspired wedding with a twist of modern elegance. Diane and Dave were married on 31st March 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee. Their day was filled with the most stunning decoration, beautiful flowers, elegant table settings and oh my what about their pet dog! The whole day is pure wedding heaven, big thanks to Wildwood Event Co for sending it to me and to Vow Collective for the beautiful photos.

Happy Friday everyone, I hope you are all ready for the weekend ahead of us? Have you had a good week? I do hope so. This weekend we are off to a street food market on Saturday and meeting family for a bike ride and catch up on Sunday, so pretty chilled really. What about you? Today I am taking you to beautiful Italy for the wonderful wedding of Kim and Frank. Now who doesn’t love a wedding in Italy, even if they did get a surprise visit from a rain storm! The whole day is full of rustic elegance, soft greens and creams, beautiful flowers and the most amazing venue. Big thanks to these stunning photos by Liam Collard.
Kim and Frank were married on 28th May 2022 at San Michele Di Arcangelo, Perugia, with the reception at Borgo Colognola, Perugia in Italy. It was the May bank holiday weekend, or so we thought…then the dates changed because of the Platinum jubilee, but still meant lots of our guests could make a holiday of the trip to Italy if they wanted to. We ha 80 guests.
