With the weather taking a turn for summer here in the UK, it is just brilliant to bring you more and more summer weddings here on the blog. A little bit of sunshine, certainly does go a long way, long may it continue! Today it’s the turn of Christina and Austen who were married on 4th June 2022 at Pleasant Hill in Ohio. They wanted a wedding that reflected their love of nature and the outdoors and this they did. They kept the décor simple, letting the beauty of the venue shine through. A charming wedding full of smiles and laughter. Big thanks to Eastlyn & Joshua for the lovely photos.
Our overall feeling towards the wedding was to let the natural surroundings of the venue property to be the décor. The beautiful forest chapel is what inspired us to keep the added décor simple. The colours were blush, pale pink, and peach with sort of a floral garden theme.

Today I am taking you to a venue not far from me! Cannon Hall Museum Park and Garden in Barnsley is about 30-40 minutes away from me. So when this gorgeous boho lux styled shot landed in my inbox, I just knew I had to share it with you! The shoot is a mixture of two different looks and two different ceremonies. One loose and relaxed outdoor ceremony for a more intimate boho feel, soft drapes, stunning flowers and the most divine gown. While the second is inside, so more traditional with an elegant boho vibe. Both looks are stunning, both show of the venue beautifully and both give us some gorgeous inspiration for a Boho Lux style wedding.

What a wonderful wedding I have for you today! This fun filled retro loving wedding is filled with the most wonderful 70s inspired details, as well as warm earthy tones that matched the autumnal time of year perfectly. Maddie and Conor were married on 8th October 2022 in Mt. Airy, Maryland. They were lucky enough to hold the wedding at Maddie’s family farm, which meant the day was even more special to them. They added their own retro boho twist with the decorations adding DIY touches here and there and really going to town with their 70s theme. I love this wedding, I love the romantic outdoor ceremony, coupled with the fun element of the reception. Big thanks to Bellwether Events for the submission.
