Congratulations! You’ve tied the knot. Now, it’s time to relax and enjoy being newlyweds.
Your honeymoon is a time that you’ll want to remember for the rest of your married lives—one that brought you even closer together and was filled with special shared moments.
But planning and organizing the perfect honeymoon isn’t easy, especially when your time and attention are already focused on the wedding itself. However, with the right attitude and the right itinerary, anything is possible!
Here’s how you can create a romantic honeymoon itinerary from scratch.
A honeymoon is a holiday that should have equal value for each partner. Not only will planning your honeymoon itinerary together help you to create a trip that both of you are equally excited about, but it can also be a powerful bonding experience that brings you closer together.
Whether you are interested in exploring all that Budapest has to offer, cruising around the Caribbean, or a luxury island getaway, when you collaborate on honeymoon plans, it gives each person the opportunity to voice their personal desires and wishes for how the honeymoon will unfold. This can make for a more romantic, rewarding, and satisfying holiday experience as a married couple.
Consider The Weather
It might sound obvious, but the weather can play a fundamental role in your honeymoon. When planning the itinerary, do some research together on the weather patterns of your destination
When you know what kind of weather to expect, you can plan your outfits, activities, and sightseeing in a more informed and productive way. You can also ensure you don’t end up sweaty when you’re trying to enjoy a romantic walk or freezing when dining under the stars.

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a good weekend? What did you get up to? Mine was pretty chill, a visit to the theatre to see ‘Life of Pi’ with my best friend, a visit to the cinema with Dexter and quite a few jobs ticked off the list! I am now ready for a super busy week ahead. I have a packed schedule to share with you over the next few days so do keep popping back for more fab content. Today I have the super fun and totally gorgeous wedding of Amy and Jonny to share with you. It’s a mix of modern meets rustic DIY goodness. A colour pallet of orange and terracotta mixed with pops of yellow, keeps it on trend and full of fun. Big thanks to Iain Irwin for the lovely photos.
Amy and Jonny were married on 4th July 2023, the whole day was at Larchfield Estate Larchfield Estate in Northern Ireland. They had approximately 115 guests and it took just under a year to plan.

I get sent so many California weddings and I have to admit I just love them! There is something about the sunshine in California that really makes a wedding special, that and the laid back vibe that a California wedding has! Today’s wedding comes from California, and it’s a real stunner! Fairlight and David were married on 10th November 2021 in Temecula and they held the most delightful fairy tale wedding you have seen. With a horse drawn carriage and the most amazing flowers, this wedding is quite something. The autumn theming really adds that extra element to the day, with cute pumpkins added to the stunning flowers for some gorgeous decoration. Ever After Photography was there to capture the day for us.

Today I have a super pretty styled shoot to share with you all the way from California. The shoot took place on 2nd July 2023 in Temecula, California and was brought together by Courtney McManaway Photography and a wonderful team of super talented suppliers. The shoot is light and bright, with a wonderful mixture of colour set against the white washed walls and beams of this California barn. With hanging florals, greenery and pops and bursts of bright flowers this shoot brings so much joy and happiness, a real eye pleaser. Perfect if you are looking for an intimate day with some elegant rustic touches.
