Embarking on the journey to matrimony is an adventure of its own, and your wedding...
It’s not often I feature wedding films on the blog, but when one comes my way as beautiful as this one I just have to share it with you! Brought to you by Kristen from Romantic Wedding Videos this wedding film features the truly gorgeous Nadia and Ernest who were married on 6th July in Sedona, Arizona. The film is simple, but totally beautiful. It is FULL of emotion and had me in tears with the amazing personal vows that they wrote for each other. The music, the golden sunlight, the pure and touching elements in it all go to show that weddings don’t have to be about details and themes. Stripping things back to the vows and the love really shows what a wedding is all about! And how stunning is Nadia, oh my! Just breathtaking!
Ernest and I always wanted a grand affair for a wedding. We pictured it with hundreds of guests, beautiful flowers, and decadent food. But when baby Penelope came into the picture everything changed. All the fluff seemed to fade away, and we just wanted our family unit to be official as soon as possible. We almost immediately shifted gears and decided to elope after she was born. I saw this image in my head of us being married under the trees. A simple ceremony about us and our commitment to each other. Four weeks later we made it happen. Ernest and I got married in the forest in Sedona by his Bishop and we were joined by two witnesses (photographer and videographer). It was a fairy tale! There were storm clouds and birds chirping. The world seemed to go quiet as we read heartfelt vows to each other. It was truly the best day of my entire life.
