'Disco Balls and Florals' Bright, Bold and Modern Woodland Wedding Inspiration

I am absolutely in love with today’s styled shoot. It incorporates everything I love in weddings; Bright colours, big florals, an outdoor woodland ceremony and lots of disco balls, it really is wedding perfection! The shoot took place on 27th April 2026 at Two Woods Estate in West Sussex and showcases not only the venues gorgeous outdoor woodland ceremony area but the stunning barn reception area as well. Lucy Davis the photographer worked with an amazing team of wedding suppliers who all worked incredibly hard in putting this stunning shoot together, showing that outdoor woodland weddings can be bold, colourful and full of modern styling. I absolutely love it!

A bold, colour-led wedding designed to bring a playful energy to the natural beauty of the venue, blending huge floral installations, disco balls and modern styling with the dramatic redwood backdrop. The overall feel was boho, glam and effortlessly chic, showing couples how they can embrace colour, personality and a slightly unexpected aesthetic within a relaxed woodland setting.

We wanted to create something that felt different from the typical neutral countryside wedding look and
show how couples can confidently inject colour and individuality into an already stunning venue without
overpowering it. Two Woods Estate has such a striking natural setting that it felt like the perfect place to
explore a more modern, editorial take on a woodland wedding.

We wanted the shoot to feel immersive, joyful and fashion-led while still feeling relaxed and connected to the landscape, proving that boho styling can still feel elevated, stylish and fresh.

The aim was to inspire couples to think beyond traditional rustic wedding styling and see how colour,
statement installations and personality-driven design can work beautifully in a woodland venue. We also wanted to showcase the versatility of the space, from the forest ceremony setting to the open-air dining barn and create imagery that felt aspirational but still achievable. The final result feels vibrant, modern and full of atmosphere whilst still allowing the venue’s natural beauty to shine.
