Tommy and Jamie’s Luxury Barn Wedding in Upstate New York by Adam Okimatsu

I have the cutest wedding for you today with the most gorgeous loved up couple. Jamie and Tommy were married on 6th July 2024 at Gilbertsville Farmhouse in South New Berlin, Upstate New York in a beautiful luxury barn wedding. With two wedding dresses, fireworks and the most stunning flowers this wedding is a blast from start to finish and full of love and happiness. I just love the pastel colours, the abundance of flowers and the joy between this adorable couple. Big thanks to Adam Okimatsu for the wonderful photos.

Tommy and Jamie have always shared a strong friendship, having been in the same middle and high schools – Tommy even attended Jamie’s sweet sixteen birthday party. After college, they both returned to their hometown, and what began as casual hangouts gradually turned into something more. A trip to Boston to visit Tommy’s brother marked the turning point in their relationship. In June of 2023, Tommy proposed. He had told Jamie they were heading to a nice restaurant to celebrate his mother’s birthday. But when Jamie came down the stairs, she was greeted by a walkway of flowers and candles leading to the deck. Surrounded by their families, the two became engaged, with a family dinner and engagement party that evening – an intimate and joyful celebration of their next chapter.

Jamie and Tommy’s luxury barn wedding in Upstate New York was a breathy, whimsical celebration steeped in nature. They shared a quiet first look in the woods, exchanging vows in a serene moment, while preparations at the Gilbertsville Farmhouse set up their softly garden-infused theme. A wooden altar, crafted from branches, stood against the backdrop of the endless green hillsides of the Catskill Mountains, beneath a perfectly cloud-dotted sky. After the ceremony, guests entered the barn, hung with enchanting crystal chandeliers. DIY tablescapes, thoughtfully created by Tommy’s mother at their Airbnb beforehand, added to the organic ambiance. The tables were set with English-inspired dishware, menus adorned with botanical artwork, and pink and green florals running down the center. Mid-reception, Jamie briefly left with her bridesmaids to visit Hammock Park for photos during golden hour. While the organic spaces provided a relaxed atmosphere, guests were delighted by a stunning fireworks display to cap off the evening, leaving them with a magical and unforgettable memory.
