Alyson and Dylan’s Beautiful Barn Wedding in Ohio by Linen & Elm Photography

Today I am taking you to Ohio for the gorgeous Barn wedding of Alyson and Dylan who were married on 9th September 2024 at Cedar Bay Farm. The barn comes with plenty of history, being built in 1855 and brings with it a rustic nature to any of the weddings being held there. Alyson and Dylan have some beautiful moments in this wedding, including their first look, as well as some great portrait photos. I love the vibrant blue of the men’s suits, as well as the pretty pastels of the flowers. Big thanks to Linen & Elm Photography for the photos.

Jeanette from Linen & Elm Photography tells us more

Cedar Bay Farm is a passion project led by designers Ben and Kelly Woodall who moved to Lebanon, Ohio in 2018. The original barn was built around 1855 and offered a perfect backdrop for Alyson and Dylan’s wedding.

Jeanette at Linen & Elm Photography is photographer and friend of the Woodalls. She captured imagery of the property’s original condition as a way to showcase the progress and improvements that Ben & Kelly have made. They make every effort to retain the original character of the barn to maintain an authentic, warm and inviting environment for their guests.

The name “Cedar” was derived from the previous name given to Lebanon, “Cedar City”. The “bay” portion of the property’s name was derived from Ben & Kellly’s love for the Chesapeake Bay where Kelly grew up. Once married, the couple moved to the Virginia side of Chesapeake Bay. So living by the “bay” was a big part of the couple’s history.
