Jess and Joe’s Fun Loving and Colourful Tipi Wedding at Home by Lauren May Photos

Today’s wedding is full of fun and colour and I just LOVE it! Jess and Joe were married on 15th July 2023 at the family farm in  Lancashire, which just happened to be the grooms parents farm. Because the wedding took place at home they had freedom to do what ever they wanted! They filled the day with a rainbow of colours, from the flowers to the confetti, to the vegan cakes. The day was chilled and relaxed, even the pet dog made an appearance and they brought the fun with an amazing prop filled photo booth. I just love the relaxed fell off this wedding, the colour, the marquee, the flowers! What a day! Big thanks to Lauren May Photos for the gorgeous photos.

Our fun-loving couple Jess & Joe had a beautiful tipi wedding ceremony at the Groom’s parent house.  The bride had a beautiful and colourful bouquet with a matching floral crown. They said their vows under a greenery half-arch with the super fun and colourful Hazel The Rainbow Celebrant officiating their wedding. Along with having their friends and family witness their union, the couple included a traditional ‘ring warming’ element to include all of their guests in this special moment. The couple had awesome bespoke ‘newspaper’ style order or ceremony for their guests!

As the wedding was in their family home, they of course wanted as many guests to stay over as possible, so they created their own glamping site in the adjacent field.

Everything about this wedding screamed colourful and relaxed boho vibes. From the colourful confetti to the mix-match bridesmaids dresses to their beloved dog Buddy joining them for fun wedding photos!

The Bride’s sister created 5 vegan cakes which fitted with the overall catering theme of being all vegan. And let’s not forget the bright, bold and fun photobooth. The couple enjoyed wearing the many props and having a fun photo session with me here!
