Sandrine and Roy’s Romantic Cyprus Wedding With Dusty Tones of Peach and Green

Today I am taking you off to beautiful Cyprus for the stunning destination wedding of Sandrine and Roy. This travel loving couple always knew their wedding would have the Mediterranean sea as a backdrop and when they found this stunning Cyprus venue they knew it was the perfect location for their wedding. With the help of wedding planners M.O.weddings they created a soft romantic setting with dusty tones of peach and green, which look amazing against the Cyprus backdrop. The setting is superb, as are the flowers, the décor and of course our gorgeous couple. Tatiana Getta was there to capture the day for us.

Sandrine and Roy were married on 28th May 2022 at St Charbel Maronite Church, Mediterranean Breeze Villa in in Cyprus. ‘Being the two free souls who admire the beauty of the sea, we couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate our wedding other than on the Mediterranean seaside. Our beloved country Lebanon was our first consideration but then with the drastic crisis up roaring there, we felt the neighbouring Island of Cyprus is the ideal place. We had 100 guests and it took 6 months to plan.’

How they met
We were both 18 years young when we first met, but it was on one of those lovely summer Beirut nights in 2014, that we met again, and instantly felt that a new meaningful relationship is about to be born. From Beirut to Paris, we went to Cyprus 8 years later, happier than ever and so ready for our future together!

Theme or colour scheme
A palette of soft and dusty tones became our inspiration, and we used these shades in the wedding decoration.

Flowers
Soft peach and pink flowers with dusty green eucalyptus greenery and puffy pampas grass. (Peach Peony Roses David Austin, Lisianthus champagne and pale pink, caramel dianthus, yellow and white freesia, bright orange alstroemeria, Pampas grass)

Decoration
Church: The church entrance was decorated with an arch with soft peach flowers and pampas grass compositions. A white aisle runner was adorn with candles and rose petals.
Villa: The reception area at the villa is highlighted by a photo zone with hanging vases-bottles with flowers and a decorated table for warm wishes.
The seating arrangement, table numbers, are in the colours of the sunset, showing all the cities where the newlyweds travelled together bonded the concept.
The textured villa brought together the comport of the wedding palette. The evening colors coming off the candles and the backlights, created a fairytale setting of the wedding mystery.

Food
International menu buffet with different types of salads, marinated chicken with command aria wine and herbs, pork souvla, beef steaks with pepper sauce and oven cooked sea bass filler with herb as main dishes. Carving station with carved virginia honey ham served with pineapple sauce

Wedding cake
A 3 tier wedding cake with 2 different flavours: Black Forest and Victoria sponge
