Isa and Pato’s Elegant and Modern Flower Filled Two Day Mexican Wedding

Today is a special day, as it’s my birthday! Happy Birthday to me!! I do love a birthday, whether it’s mine or anyone else’s, I just love a celebration of any sort. So today I am removing myself from my office and enjoying the day. First off is brunch with Nik, then the cinema and then Dinner with Nik and Dexter. Saturday I am at the theatre in the afternoon and then out for an Ibiza classics night with some friends in the evening. So to celebrate the day in style, I have this rather fancy and completely fabulous Mexican wedding to share with you. Isa and Pato were married on 5th March 2022 at Villa Xido + Casa Nella Grand Villa in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. The wedding was celebrated across two days and is all kinds of wonderful! The decoration is outstanding, the flowers, the cake table, the ceremony area……Wow! as for this gorgeous couple, what can I say! Big thanks to Penzi Weddings and Ricardo Arellano for making the wedding so amazing.

Kristen from Published + Pretty tells us more about the wedding

It was 2019 when Isa accompanied friends to San Miguel de Allende in Mexico to celebrate New Year’s Eve. A great time is always expected when visiting this charming town, but what came as a surprise was that Isa would meet the man of her dreams while abroad.

When it came time to plan their wedding, the duo turned to Penzi Weddings to orchestrate their two wedding ceremonies – one religious and one civil – and corresponding celebrations. From start to finish, their entire wedding weekend design pulled from the color, culture and architecture San Miguel de Allende is known for. And with some modern touches and fun accents like Isa’s metallic Toral boots, the vibe was made totally their own.

Isa reflects, “Walking into my wedding and seeing all the details and the execution behind them was mind-blowing. Absolutely everything from the flowers to the service to my guests exceed my expectations. The experience of the wedding was magical and care-free for me, because I knew I was in the best hands and every single detail was taken care of. Planning the wedding with Meengan Cardenas and the team was like being a child in a candy store, a delight and a world of possibilities. She is amazing at materializing the dreams your have in your head, while still keeping things functional and realistic. I believe it takes a special kind of talent to take someone’s fluttering ideas and Pinterest boards and actually bring them into reality. Throughout the whole process I felt heard and guided, which is how you want to feel when planning your big day”.

The festivities kicked off on Thursday with their civil ceremony. Sweet and intimate, it was the perfect way to start such a joyous string of events. An elegantly designed party followed with authentic Mexican cuisine and live music. The couple opted to spend the following day relaxing in style. Pato and his groomsmen headed to the golf course, while the girls hung at the pool. The culmination of the festivities was their stunning and sentimental wedding on Saturday, which took place at the groom’s family estate, Villa Xido. Afterwards, they headed to Casa Nella for dinner and dancing. With lush florals by Angelica de Solache draping from the ceiling and candlelight galore, the vibe was perfectly romantic and modern. Everything flowed together seamlessly thanks to Penzi Weddings and Ricardo Arellano captured it all to perfection.
