Happy Monday and welcome to the start of another wonderful week. I hope you all had a great weekend and that you survived yet another hot spell here in the UK. We spent the weekend at Gloworm festival, which is a festival especially for children. Dexter had a ball, so many things to see and do. Now we are off to Tattersall Lakes for the week, so my out of office is well and truly on! I can’t wait for a week full of activities with my two boys, we go every year and it’s always a fun filled holiday! I have lots to keep you occupied while I am away though, starting with the wedding of Chelsea and Charles who were married on 18th January 2022 in Dayton, Ohio. The couple held an intimate ceremony in a gorgeous industrial building with 50 of their closest friends and family, followed by a big party reception. This wedding is cool, modern with a boho twist and filled to the brim with love and laughter. Big thanks to Amber Garrett Photography for the lovely images.
Chelsea and Charles met and instantly had an undeniable connection. Throughout their vows, they reminded each other that the phrase, “I have to know them,” bounced through both of their minds the night they met. Even when Chelsea tried to end her relationship with Charles a few months later, it was impossible to keep these two apart. Fast forward to August of 2020, and these two had reserved their dream wedding venue before Chelsea even had a ring. But they knew they were it for each other, so Charles and I hatched a plan to surprise Chelsea with a proposal in October 2020. Obviously, she said yes.
The day started at The Brightside Music and Event Venue in downtown Dayton, OH, where everyone was getting ready. Chelsea and Charles held their first look in the ceremony loft space before it was set up, and we soon jetted over to a nearby park for formal photos. On the way back to the venue, we took a detour to Shroyer’s Inn – the bar that started and strengthened their relationship – for a shot before walking down the aisle. The ceremony was intimate, only having about 50 of their closest friends and family present, and then they held a bigger reception just downstairs in the main performance area.
