Hello everyone! How are you holding up? If you are in the UK then you...
Well hello Wednesday and goodbye lockdown!! To all of you who had to shut your business over the last month and are now able to open, congratulations! Happy first day back at work. I am off to get my nails done tomorrow, I can’t wait! For those of you stuck in Tier 3 like we are in Sheffield, I feel your pain! To add a bit of sparkle into your day I have this totally gorgeous ‘Enchanted Fairy Tale’ Italian wedding for you, set in the most gorgeous venue. Andrea and Ilaria were married on 13th July 2019 at the Frassanelle estate in Italy. They had an outdoor ceremony and reception, both of which were an absolute dream. Full of the most beautiful flowers, amazing decoration, such a stunning set up. The perfect sunshine escape from a cold winters day. Big thanks to Serena Genovese for the amazing photos.
An outdoor wedding is beautiful, especially if the location is an enchanted fairy tale park. This awesome couple wasn’t scared of some rain. Everything was super special and simple.
Ilaria and Andrea chose the Frassanelle estate For their wedding. This is a beautiful location for weddings in the Euganean Hills area, near Padua. Frassanelle is a large park, an ancient villa, its rural village, the barchessa and its immense portico, and then trees again and paths that lead to a majestic staircase, an ideal and scenic setting for the civil ceremony.
For the floral arrangements they chose the flowers and the colors of summer: many dahlias and then lisianthus, craspedia, Queen Anne’s lace, alstroemeria, chamomile, limonium, eryngium. The colors went from white to yellow, to pink in various shades, to lilac, with the darker touch of “black” dahlias.
We met in Venice during a hot summer day of 2007. We shared the first moments surrounded by friends, art and rock music. Our respective best friends were dating but after about a month the situation was reversed and we started our wonderful love story.
Ilaria, for Andrea’s 30th birthday, decided to pursue his big dream: see the northern lights. So, in November we took a couple of planes and reached the far north of Sweden.
Among snowy and fairy landscapes, in the magical evening of November 24th, the aurora manifested itself to the maximum of its magnificence. At that precise moment, Andrea kneeled down to ask the fateful question. In a succession of incredulity, smiles and tears, we promised to the universe our commitment to each other.”
