‘Tropical Paradise At Home’ Bright And Colourful Party and Wedding Inspiration for Smaller Gatherings

With weddings, parties and social gatherings getting smaller and smaller as the weeks go on I thought I would bring you some inspiration perfect for a small gathering. Just because we are only allowed 6 people in a gathering at the moment don’t let that put you off making the most of the decor. You can still create something beautiful and totally fabulous for your party or wedding. In fact now those details can be even more impressive as the scale is smaller and more intimate. Katie from Pitch Boutique  worked with a team of hugely talented suppliers back in the midst of lockdown to create a social distanced,  bang on trend styled shoot to show you that you don’t need a massive guest count to hold the party of your dreams. The shoot took place in one of the suppliers gardens and I have to say I just love it. The bright colours, the tropical theme, the balloons, those super cute dogs, it is all picture perfect!

A bright and colourful party set up, perfect for those looking to escape to a tropical island. This beautiful party is ideal for birthdays and hen parties at home.

Welcome to our Tropical Paradise!

With the current situation in mind, and with special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, festivals and summer holidays all having to be postponed or even cancelled we think there is no better time to celebrate in style at home to give people the chance to resurrect their summer of 2020. Whether it be a ‘would have been wedding day glampout’ at home or a summer holiday slumber party for families, just because the world has stopped recently doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun!

Our brief to all the amazing suppliers was focused around a tropical paradise, they ticked every box! We created a bright and colourful setting to recreate that summer sun feeling, filled with lots of beautiful styling transporting you to a tropical island.

At Pitch Boutique we create stunning event set ups, in the comfort of peoples gardens at home. Our set up for this shoot included a cosy bell tent escape, complete with a colourful balloon arch entrance and stunning peacock chair. Our low level picnic table was styled with our fresh floral displays including proteas, palm leaves and anthurium. Finally no tropical escape is complete without cocktails, our mimosa bar is such a fun addition to so many events.

When looking for suppliers for the shoot we certainly knew who we wanted to capture the day, Sophie Oldhamstead Photography has always inspired us with her bright photography which we knew would fit in perfectly with our tropical atmosphere.. She captured the tropical vibe perfectly!

Two Little Ducks designed a beautiful stationery suite, complete with invitations, place settings, stunning party bags and even a Mimosa Bar sign. Alexia’s eye for detail truly captured the theme, and paired perfectly with our styling. Tasha from Tasha’s Little Bakes crafted the most delicious lemon cake, covered in buttercream and gold leaf. To finish off she topped this towering cake with fresh flowers.

Olive & Ivy laid out the most beautiful of grazing tables, packed with sweet and savoury treats. This delicious spread is perfect for celebrations, grazing your way through the day with minimal clear up and maximum taste.
