It’s not often that I have two weddings by the same photographer in one week on the blog, but today is one of those days. And it happened completely by chance! On Monday I featured this stunning wedding by Francesca Francesca and today I have another stunning wedding in Italy to share with you which was kindly sent in by the wedding planner Loving Marche Wedding. Emanuele and Chiara are from Rome, but fell in love with the Marche region when they first met. So when it came to planning their wedding they knew exactly where it needed to be. A beautiful church wedding was followed by the most dramatic and stunning vineyard receptions. One long table stretched out for as far as you can see was adorned with the most gorgeous white and sage green flower arrangements. A simply stunning wedding that I know you will love.
Emanuele and Chiara were married on 27th of July 2019 at Chiesa di Santa Maria a Mare – Torre di Palme, with the reception at Ristorante Dea Flora – Montefiore dell’Aso in the Italian region Marche. ‘We are from Rome, at the beginning of our dating we visited the small village of tower of palms and we fell in love with it, it was definitely love at first sight, so promised that if ever we got married it would be in that little town of the Marche suspended between your sky and the sea it was! We had 100 guests and it took one year to plan with the help of Nadia, our wedding planner.’
How they met
We met as children and had the same friends. We then moved away for a while and we met again when we grew up and from there our story started … now we are together for almost seven years!
The proposal
The proposal was not only magical but also a real surprise. He, without my knowledge and with the complicity of the location manager, organised a relaxing evening in a spa; then a romantic candlelight dinner followed in the place that would become the backdrop for our wedding. During the dinner he knelt down and as in the most classic of stories, he asked me to marry him and I said yes !!
Where did you splurge and where did you save?
In our opinion there were no excesses or savings, we wanted a simple but at the same time elegant and refined wedding and we spent all the details that made this event similar to our personalities!
How did you choose your photographer?
We met our photographers through our Wedding planner, Loving Marche Wedding In addition to being two wonderful people we immediately liked all their work and we had no doubt in choosing them … there is a lot of poetry in all their photos and I think this was the one that made us fall in love with their shots.
The dress
Atelier EME bride dress, Le Silla Bride shoes, Make up and coiffeur Giorgia Bertoldi
The suit and bridesmaids
I had three bridesmaids, my sister and two dear friends of mine! They were very important to me because besides being close to me on such an important day, they were a great help on such an important. I wanted to thank them by giving all three a tailor-made dress in a tailor shop in Rome! We used a sage green fabric that I also used for the belt of my dress!
Theme or colour scheme
The colours were white and sage green
Flowers
eucalyptus, olive, hydrangeas, white lisyantus,
Decoration
We had a great band of greenery and flowers that frames the Romanesque portal of the church, a romantic and natural styled bouquet, a long table with white tablecloth with a lush torchon of eucalyptus, olive, hydrangeas, white lisyantus all along the table and the effect was wonderful. We had a special and yellow Volkswagen T9 with a green torchon on the front windshield
Food
We started the evening with an aperitif based on Le Marche specialties such as olives with Ascolana and maccheroncini di Campofilone, we eat typical pasta and very special meat.
Wedding cake
The cake was a puff pastry with chantilly cream and berries
Entertainment
For entertainment, in addition to choosing a portrait artist during the aperitif, we have hired a local band to entertain guests with live music!
Who supplied the stationery?
A graphic for design and “atirs fashion” for invitation boxes and wedding favours
Personal touches
As for the customisation of our wedding we wanted it to be an evening in a country chic theme and we indulged in choosing wine bottles from the cellar where the reception was held as wedding favours.
Special moments or highlights
I loved every moment of my wedding day but the most exciting was the wedding cake cutting: we were on a beautiful terrace from which we can see the sea, and suddenly the fireworks began!
Advice for other couples
I think that the most important thing is to have someone that can help you; we live far from the place of wedding and the wedding planner was very useful for coordinating, finding suppliers and acting as intermediaries, having advice and giving a logical thread
