Happy Wednesday everyone, I don’t know about you, but this week is whizzing along at a super fast speed! How has it been for you? Today I am whisking you off to beautiful Italy for the glorious boho inspired wedding of Garyl and Dil. The wedding is set in the most amazing venue (don’t you just love a wedding reception by a pool!) with stunning flowers and the most gorgeous Italian backdrop! Andrea Antohi has done the honours with the photos and what a wonderful job he has done!
Garyl and Dil were married on 11th August 2017 at S.Michele in Fangesto, Apulia, Italy. ‘We loved this amazing spot and professionality of the people in the location, we had 70 guests and it took 6 months to plan.’
How they met
We were performing together in a dancing and acting show. We’ve been together for 10 years
The proposal
It was during a company family day during a lucky draw in front of 2400 people, completely unexpected and definitely embarrassing.
How did you allocate your budget?
I’ve collected costs information about the selected venues and services and took a decision about the must have and the wish list at the end
Where did you splurge and where did you save?
I’ve splurged in the accommodations and saved on the florist options
How did you choose your photographer?
I made an online search for boho wedding photographer in the area and found and selected the best one in my opinion and according to the reviews.
The dress
I bought the dress in Turin in Idea Spose (it was a Pronovias wedding dress). The shoes are made in Spain (Barcelona) and were brought from there from a friend of mine (Castaner brand). The earrings were handmade by me
The suit
The suit was by the Italian stylist Corneliani bought in (Erzegonivaz Turin).
Theme or colour scheme
The theme was boho and the selected colours were pistachio green and old rose
Flowers
English Rose and Lisiantus gypsophila
Decoration
Flowers, balloons with silk ribbon, wooden signals, hay bales,
Food
Local Italian Apulia Food
Wedding cake
Was a layered boho cake found on Pinterest
Entertainment
A DJ and an amazing Taranta dance local performance
Stationery
GET IMPRESSED Srl (Turin – Italy) merchandise company
Personal touches
Embroidery hoops with lace and bells handmade by my mum and gramma, handmade wedding favours and handmade earrings
Special moments
The Taranta dance performance was definitely the party highlight
Advice for other couples
To choose Apulia for the professional service it offers and the astonishing locations
Biggest surprise
My gramma to be present at the wedding party

Destination Wedding photographer in Puglia, Italy and where you like around the world. My photographic approach aims to tell a story, the story of this particular day that is your wedding. This story I’ll try to build it with you, your family, friends, families, children… I’ll do it with discreteness, spontaneity, perseverance, and good mood…I will look closely at intimate moments… And I am aware of the responsibility involved in building a part of your family memories… So I will spend time with you. But I will also be where you cannot be that day. I’ll try to be your eyes, so that later these photos become your memory…
Such a pretty wedding
