Pretty Pastel Cotton Candy Spring Wedding Inspiration

Even though the weekend is forecast for more snow, believe it or not it is actually now Spring! With the slow change in temperature here in the UK, we can at last start looking at what the spring and summer months may bring us, and I’m sure you are with me when I say the sunshine can not come soon enough! For that reason I have a pretty Spring styled shoot to share with you. The shoot took place at Nopalito Farm & Hopyard in San Diego and comes from a talented team of wedding suppliers, headed up by Color&Cake Photography. The shoot is fun, playful, full of pretty pastels, gorgeous flowers and delicious cakes and of course, all that sugar-filled wedding candies and cotton candy!

Calli Duncan from Color&Cake Photography tells us more about the shoot

We were feeling inspired by the lush greens of Spring mixed with soft pinks and pops of bold colors that make you want to go outside and play. So we went out to a hops farm in the north county of San Diego where there was plenty of fresh air and a laid back feeling, put our bride in a rustic, off the shoulder, bohemian style dress, our groom in a light suit with colored button details on his vest and a quirky boutonniere, and we played and ate… cotton candy!

The table features napkins that were hand dyed, color wrapped dried sage, and colorful vintage cups.  As the sun went down, we lit some candles, poured some punch, and felt the romance of the quiet evening around us. Le sigh. Love. Is. Sweet.
