Happy Friday everyone! How is it Friday already? This week has flown by! July is speeding though so quickly! I hope you are well and happy and have had a good week. To finish it off in style we have this gorgeous fun-filled yellow wedding for you courtesy of Nicola Thompson. Matt and Wendy chose two wonderful venues to hold their wedding across and got their daughter involved making it a family friendly day. With a fabulous colour scheme of bright yellow, their day was filled with lots of gorgeous details put together by the two graphic designers, which resulted in some lovely touches and fab details.
Matt & Wendy were married on the 27th July 2015 in a ceremony at The Glasshouse, Combermere Abbey, Shropshire followed by a reception at Cock O’ Barton, Cheshire. ‘I’ve always wanted to get married outside but didn’t want the stress of checking the weather forecast every 5 minutes until the big day! The glasshouse was the perfect solution, situated in a beautiful Victorian Walled Garden, you feel like your outdoors but are fully undercover. The Cock O’ Barton is a lovely relaxed gastro pub and had the informal feel we wanted for our reception. We had about 100 guests. We booked the venues 18 months ahead but didn’t do much planning until a lot nearer the time.’

This afternoon we have a huge treat for you as we have the new collection from Limor Rosen. We brought you the Urban Dreams collection and then The Treasure Collection last year and you loved the designs, so I know you are going to love this latest collection.
These designs are very fashion-forward and I can imagine them looking very elegant in a boho countryside or beach wedding. With lots of delicate detailing, low backs and gorgeous fabrics they look light as a feather to wear and very comfortable! My favourite is the ‘Iris’ dress with off the shoulder lace and front thigh split. Stunning! I’d love to know which one you like the most, and certainly which collection is your favourite.

Natasha and Matthew were married on the 23rd August with a reception at the Suffolk Barn in Hawstead after a charming church ceremony. With stunning blue skies and a rustic setting, the bride and groom look incredibly relaxed as they enjoy their day with friends and family. Including lots of classic English Countryside details the couple also ferried guests to the reception in an iconic Routemaster bus. With the bride rocking some colour pop shoes, I think this wedding is exactly what we need as we near the end of the week – such a gorgeous and fun day finished with a killer dance floor! Many thanks to York Place Studios for the images.

Good afternoon! Today we had a fairy tale story inspired shoot to share with you. Whilst we often feature shoots based around a colour or theme, it is rare that one attempts to tell a story. This magical shoot is brought to you today by Amore Star Events; who brought together a brilliant creative team to create a colourful and whimsical story of a young girl dreaming of her wedding. I’m sure there are a few of you out there who can relate to that! The floral designs really bring this shoot to life, with plenty of foliage and ethereal blooms decorating the spaces, and a fantastic floral crown for the bride. Many thanks to Elton Mogg for the images today, I hope you enjoy them.

Todays wedding is full of sunshine and I absolutely LOVE it! As you know I got married in Ibiza, so when I get the chance to feature an Ibiza wedding on the blog I jump at the chance. Todays wedding was captured perfectly by the wonderful Gypsy Westwood (who has the most amazing hair by the way) and was planned to perfection by Cardamom Event Planners. Hannah and Scott held the most incredible day, with a cliff top ceremony, pool side reception and dancing underneath the stars. What a stunning day it is. With the prettiest of flowers the yummiest of naked cakes, I wish this wedding was my own. Take me back to Ibiza NOW! I want to get married again!
Hannah and Scott were married on the 29th of May 2016 at Casa la Vista Villa Ibiza in a clifftop ceremony followed by courtyard dining and a poolside party under the stars. ‘We had seen some wedding pictures in Ibiza on Instagram and fell in love with it before we had even visited the island! We wanted something abroad which was accessible to our guests & we really love Spanish culture, which combined with the islands charm & beauty made it the perfect location! We went over quite a few times to research and look at all the different venues & villas, then we met JoJo from Cardamom who was experienced at making the wedding planning process both easy & really fun to plan. As soon as she showed us the villa we knew it was the one. It had everything we wanted – we could have the ceremony on a cliff overlooking the sea, post ceremony drinks by a fountain overlooking the bay, dinner in a romantic pomegranate courtyard then a party in the garden, poolside under the stars. We had 50 guests and the wedding took 18 months to plan.’
