This afternoon I am taking you to Kansas City for this super romantic, dreamy and oh so Boho styled shoot. The shoot took place in September 2017 at The Legacy at Green Hills, Kansas City, Missouri, and was the brain child of Elizabeth Ladean Photography and Alex of The Legacy at Green Hills. They wanted to create a beautiful shoot, that combined The Notebook with Anne of Green Gables, and this they did beautifully. They were inspired by the love story of their real life models, Emily and Logan, whose story dates back to when they were 12 and 13. They have been together for so many years and eventually married in 2010. This shoot is how they imagined their wedding day would be, if they could go back in time. I just love these images, so full of love, boho style and an etherial, whimsical feeling that is perfect for these two love birds.

Today I have the most stunning barn wedding for you, from Clitheroe in Lancashire. Tithe Barn is the location of the wedding and it really is a flower filled bonanza of wedding pretty. Jennifer and Robert chose Tithe barn as they wanted somewhere close to where Robert grew up. The barn itself is gorgeous but they made it extra specially beautiful by adding lanterns, drapes and the most gorgeous flowers. The day is filled with so many lovely details, but most of all a whole lot of love and smiles. As for Jennifer, she wore a gorgeous Jesus Peiro gown for the day and then changed into a super cute bridal playsuit for the evening reception, so stylish! Big thanks to Mike Plunkett for the lovely images.
Jennifer and Robert were married on 11th August 2017 at Tithe Barn, Browsholme Hall, Clitheroe in Lancashire. ‘We wanted somewhere in the Ribble Valley (Lancashire) as that’s where Robert grew up and it is a special place to us. We looked around some venues, but you weren’t able to do you own thing, so when we found Browsholme Hall it was perfect. We were able to put our personalities into the day. We invited 75 of closest friends and family and it took 8 months to plan.’

Morning everyone and happy Wednesday! Is anyone else completely confused as to what day it is today? With the bank holiday and now half term throwing me off track, I’m not sure if I’m working today, looking after Dexter or have a day off?!? Anyway, if you’re looking for a bit of wedding inspiration no matter if it’s Wednesday, Tuesday or Friday, I have a super cute Welsh wedding for you, courtesy of Adam Lowndes Photography. Emily and Steven chose an intimate wedding of 60 guests at a venue that meant a lot to them, which made the wedding even more personal. They had an abundance of help from friends and family, which made the wedding a real hands on affair. From the photography to the dress, the stationery to the cake, all supplied by good friends of the couple. I just love Emily’s flower crowns and the bridemaids mix and match outfits.
Emily and Steven were married on 28th May at Bwyty Mawddach, Llanelltyd, Dolgellau in Wales ‘My sister and her partner live nearby and we occasionally visit from our home in London. We both love being outdoors and often can be found on trails around the UK and further afield. This part of Wales is beautiful. The venue is overlooked by Cadair Idris and surrounded by rolling hills and fields. The venue sourcing all of the ingredients for our wedding breakfast locally was also a decisive factor. We wanted an intimate wedding so only invited 60 guests and it took around 12 months to plan.’

Happy Tuesday everyone, I hope you had a good Bank Holiday and that the weather was kind to you? Mine was lovely. Sunshine, lunch with friends, wine, a children’s birthday party, a new carpet and floor fitted at home and today a day with my boy and a load of house jobs crossed off the list! What about you? Did it involve a wedding at all?
So on with today’s gorgeous wedding, as we meet Brogan and Jon who were married at the Morning Star Church, Lawrence in Kansas on 5th May 2017. It’s an absolutely stunning wedding, the decoration is just gorgeous. The cake, the hanging lanterns, the flowers, all look amazing. I just love the relaxed backyard ceremony but most of all I love Brogan and Jon. Lindsey Roman, their photographer, describes them as goofballs, and I have to agree. Any couple who decide on a ‘roast’ instead of the traditional speeches have to be up for a laugh, and you can tell how much fun they are having by these fab photos.
