Planning a wedding can often be stressful, with lots to do and plenty to think about. Newlyweds-to-be often find themselves balancing dreams with logistics, but when it comes to choosing the perfect backdrop, some places make the decision effortless.
A stunning destination doesn’t just provide a location; it sets the mood. Whether you’re in pursuit of golden beaches or timeless cities, choosing the right destination for your wedding matters.
To help make the planning process a little easier, we’ve put together 5 of the best places to consider for your wedding day. Each one offers its own unique atmosphere, catering to all tastes and preferences.
Tuscany is practically designed for romance. Here, you will find rolling hills dotted with olive groves, vineyards that seem to stretch into forever, and the gentle hum of cicadas as the sun dips below the horizon.
A wedding in Tuscany feels timeless, like stepping into a Renaissance painting where every detail matters. From the rustic stone walls to the flicker of candlelight in the evening, this beautiful destination sets the perfect scene for a truly romantic occasion.
Couples who love the idea of long tables filled with family-style dining, glasses of wine raised under strings of glowing lights, and the earthy charm of the countryside will find Tuscany a dream. It’s the kind of place where a celebration doesn’t feel rushed. Instead, it becomes a full experience of food, culture, and connection. The atmosphere encourages slow living, where conversations flow late into the night, and the setting feels both intimate and grand at the same time.

Good morning everyone and happy Friday! I have to say I am delighted it’s Friday, It’s been a hectic week and I am in need of a bit of R&R. It’s week 3 of Dexter being at secondary school and so far things havn’t let up! Is anyone else in the same boat? things are just sooooo busy! Tonight I am meeting a friend for dinner and Saturday Nik and I are off to see Tina the musical, what about you? To finish off the week I have the fabulous and super glam wedding of Alyssa and Kieran. This fun loving couple wanted a wedding that was filled with love, romance and adventure, finishing off with the wildest party! Starting off with a welcome boat party where all the guests wore white this couple really set the bar for the rest of the wedding weekend. The wedding itself was pure glamorous romance, the couple are absolutely stunning and the whole wedding is breath taking. Fast forward to the reception and things got wild, with a change of outfits, entertainment like I have never seen before including ‘water drums’ well things got wet and the whole wedding party went crazy! This Mexico wedding really is quite something! Big thanks to Aubrey Oothout for the amazing photos.
Alyssa and Kieran were married on 1st February 2025. The ceremony was held at Waldorf Astoria Pedregal Los Cabos with the reception at The Sunset Monalisa, they also held a Welcome Boat Party at Pelican Cabo. ‘We both fell in love with both venues right away, and it was exactly the type of atmosphere we were searching for. Cabo is definitely a really fun place to get married, and we both love the beach, and wanted the location to be not too far for everyone to travel. Truly was a party of a lifetime, and I believe the venue was perfect for us! We had 70 guests and it took 6 months to plan.’

Your wedding day is one of life’s most meaningful milestones, and choosing the perfect wedding dress is often at the heart of the celebration. With countless styles, silhouettes, and design details to consider, the search can feel overwhelming. But with a clear sense of your personal style, an understanding of current trends, and a thoughtful approach to budget and fit, dress shopping transforms from a daunting task into an exciting, memorable experience.
Before visiting any bridal boutique, reflect on your everyday fashion choices. Brides who favour clean, minimalist lines often gravitate toward sleek, contemporary gowns, while those who love romantic, flowing fabrics may lean toward bohemian or vintage-inspired designs. Your lifestyle and wedding venue should also guide your choices: an outdoor garden ceremony requires different considerations than a formal cathedral wedding.
Personal style goes beyond fashion preferences. It is also about comfort with formality, embellishment, and attention. Some brides feel most radiant in understated elegance, while others embrace the chance to wear something dramatic and bold. Think about which approach resonates most with your personality and vision for the day.
Bridal fashion continues to evolve, and 2025 collections highlight a balance of sleek minimalism, bold statements, and timeless romance. Modern brides are exploring non-traditional elements such as coloured wedding gowns, unique fabrics, and unexpected silhouettes.
Corset and bustier gowns, structured bodices, basque waists, brocade fabrics, square necklines, and pearl accents are among the standout features from recent Bridal Fashion Week collections. While these trends can inspire, remember they are suggestions, not rules. The best dress reflects your personality first, while weaving in elements that feel authentic.
