I have the most stunning wedding to share with you today, courtesy of one of my favourite photographers, Nicola Thompson . I have worked with Nicola many times in my wedding planning days and have always been a fan of her work, so I do love featuring her weddings here on the blog. Today it is the turn of Becca and Sam who were married at Elmley Nature Reserve a gorgeous venue, with outdoor space and a beautiful barn, where they held their reception. The whole day was pure wedding perfection from the signage to the flowers, the entertainment to the food. Becca looked stunning in her Rue De Seine gown, the cherry on the cake of this stunning wedding. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
The most perfect, fun filled day with I do’s, booze and bad dance moves.
Becca and Sam were married on 3rd August 2022 at Elmley Nature Reserve- Kingshill Barn in Kent. ‘We fell absolutely in love with the location, even though the first time we came across the venue was during lockdown over Zoom! When we were able to visit in person, we were blown away by the stunning views and we knew this was the place for our big day. What Elmley had to offer fit our vision perfectly, of a party/festival feel atmosphere. Another major factor for us was the majority of our guests had the option to stay on site and continue the party until the early hours, singing around the campfire after the dancing had finished will always be a highlight for us. We had 140 day guest and then 180 for the evening. We got engaged December 2020, started planning in January 2021. Overall, it took about a year and a half to plan.’

Hello you lovely people and welcome to a wonderful Wednesday on the blog. Today I am bringing you the most delightful wedding of Rachel and Brenden who were married on 24th September 2022 in Bakersfield, Kern County, California. This is a classic fall wedding, full of beautiful warm tones and cosy decoration. Terracotta, gold, browns and cream all go towards making this beautiful warm colour palette. Both the outdoor ceremony and outdoor reception make the most of the Californian sunshine, with the low light of the season really adding that extra warmth to the day. This is a stunning wedding, full of joy, cheer and stunning detailing, all put together by Fairy Godmother a Wedding & Event Company and captured by Kayla Irene Photography.

This September wedding was full of all the fall feels. Mixtures of copper, burnt orange, and touches of gold created the perfect colour palette. Rachel and Brenden tied the knot in front of friends and family at a beautiful outdoor venue, overlooking the kern river. The lush romantic florals installed by Aimee Williamson provided the perfect cozy-boho charm. Sparkling gold cutlery and crystal auburn goblets, it truly was a special gathering. The night arrived and the mood was transformed into a magical evening with the night sky peeking through the strung lights making for an intimate and cosy gathering.

Tip #1: Consider the personality of each groomsman.
One of the best ways to make your groomsmen gifts memorable is to consider the personality of each groomsman when selecting the gift. Sure, picking a single item as your gift for all of your groomsmen is easy, but maybe the perfect gift for one friend ends up being a closet-stasher for another.
For example, a personalized flask might be a big hit with a few of your groomsmen. But what if others don’t even drink?
Or, say you decide to get custom engraved watches for your groomsmen. Do you get all of them the same oversized gold watch? Or do you consider the style and preferences of each groomsman before buying the right watch for each person specifically? We suggest the latter.
