Hi, I am getting married in an old fort with a spiral staircase so I would use the candle bags to place on the end of each step. The venue then has a beautiful garden overlooking the sea so i would put the tea light holders in trees within the garden to help light up the water!
Thanks for the competition!
Emma
This is most definitely the competition for us – we have a December wedding planned in the cosiest of cosy barn venues (think low beams and a big open fire place…) and we plan to use candles and fairly lights EVERYWHERE! We want to line the aisle with lots of candle bags (I already had these pinned to my pinterest boards!), and also to hang candles from the fences outside to light up the venue for some beautiful, glowing pictures. I love those little tea-light holders dearly – so so pretty :)
Great competition – we are not having lots of flowers — instead, we’ve chosen to fill the venue with candles! I’ve been looking everywhere for tealight holders and absolutely love the idea of the candle bags — ditto the pinning to pinterest already! If we can make it safe, we want to have tealights or the bags in the ceremony room; we are also panning on lining the little paths and flowerbeds of the courtyard to create a magical look at night. These bags and tealight holders would be perfect… x
My future husband and I always planned a garden party theme for our reception and since our engagement, I’ve been a DIY goddess – making bunting, table decorations and Pom poms. But, with the wedding just 4 months away, I am running out of time to make things for the “woodland walk”, a path through the woods to the camping area and photo booth. These lights would be ideal to decorate the path and the tealight holders could be hung on trees. They would look so pretty and set our party off perfectly!
Hi Kelly, myself and future hubby are getting married in Lake Garda and would love to fill the venue full of candles and twinkly lights to add a romantic touch against the background of the lake. I am collecting candles and tealights of all shapes and sizes for a rustic feel and these would look perfect. Thanks for the link to Wedding Mall – haven’t come across it before and they have some great little pieces x
Hi Kelly – I’d put the candle paper bags up the steps to the barn, and along the path outside, and hang the tealight holders from the trees. They would look beautiful next to the tipi decked out in fairylights :) x
We would use them to guide our guests to out outside surprises we are planning including quick cricket and swing ball.
These would be great to light the pathway to my brother’s outdoor reception
We would love the candle bags and lanterns to support a beautiful sun set picture on our July wedding day! Xx
I’ve been thinking of something like this for a while but haven’t thought of it seriously until I saw your competition!…I’d like to use the bags and lanterns to form a heart or my new initials and then have a picture of us in the middle of it taken from above. I love the idea of using the picture as the basis for our thank you cards so it’s a little bit different. Great competition! Best wishes xx
we are having a big white tent put up in the back garden, it would be lovely to have these leading up to the entrance of the tent :)
I love these items. I would use the hanging tea light holders in the trees that are going to be surrounding the dinning area of the reception. I would use the candle bags to line the walkway from the guest book table to the spot where we are having our seating chart.
