Reily and Annika’s Vibrant and Heartfelt Tropical Wedding in Costa Rica by Raw Shoots Photography

Today I am taking you to gorgeous Cost Rica for the totally tropical wedding of Annika and Reily who were married on 26th July 2024 at Pangas beach club. I feature Costa Rica quite a bit on the blog and it’s understandable when you look at this stunning back drop! Greenery, the ocean, sandy beaches and all those gorgeously bright flowers, a match made in wedding heaven! Annika looks truly stunning in her elegant slip dress and Reily looks dashing in his green suit, totally fitting in with the tropical backdrop. My favourite part of the wedding has to be the floral mandala, which they use as a centrepiece for their ceremony instead of a floral arch, just stunning! Big thanks to Raw Shoots Photography for the beautiful photos and to Mil Besos Costa Rica for the amazing planning.

Annika and Reily celebrated their love with a vibrant and heartfelt destination wedding in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. In preparation for their big day, Annika and Reily got ready seperately, Anna at Guesthouse Tamarindo, and Reily at The Maitri Villa. Annika’s bridal details, from her bouquet of orchids, daisies, and roses to her gold anklet and sleek low bun with a veil, embodied understated elegance.

Her bridesmaids complemented the tropical setting in sunset-hued dresses of pinks, oranges, and yellows.
Meanwhile, Reily’s forest green suit, paired with leather loafers and a mala bead necklace, reflected his laid-back yet polished style, accented by a boutonniere of yellow chrysanthemums.
Two thumbs up and smiles with his best friends as they drank Pilsen, a classic local craft beer.

The ceremony was a feast for the senses, with a floral mandala as the centerpiece instead of a traditional arch. Vibrant petals of daisies, ginger, and native blooms filled the space.
Reily awaited his love with a yellow bloom in hand as her father walked her down the isle.
The two read their vows atop the floral mandala, framed by the ficus tree, among their closest friends and family.
After saying “I-do’s”, Reily dipped Annika at the end of the isle before running to the beach for intimate photos as husband and wife.

As the sun dipped lower, the reception space came alive with Cabo-style chairs, vintage glassware, rattan lanterns, and sheer linens, creating a chic coastal ambiance.
The night was filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts. Annika and Reily’s energy lit up the dance floor and love was in the air. Guests enjoyed a delectable buffet spread and an impressive dessert table, featuring a semi-naked cake and assorted sweets.
Shirts came off and spirits soared. It was a celebration of love, family, and friendship that left everyone with memories to treasure for a lifetime.

Cheers to Annika and Reily and another beautiful Mil Besos destination wedding for the books!
