Brieanna and Alexey were married on 18th May 2024 at Pangas beach club in Costa Rica. Their wedding was a true celebration of their love for each other, their playful personalities, and their shared passion for good music, good food, and unforgettable moments. It was a wedding that perfectly blended boho charm, moody elegance, and tropical beauty, leaving their guests with memories to last a lifetime. Big thanks to Event Planner Mil Besos Costa Rica and Raw Shoots Photography.
Brieanna and Alexey’s love story began at a house party in Chicago, where a mutual friend introduced them. From that night on, their connection grew as they shared a love for cooking, music, and spending quiet evenings together. Their engagement was a fun reflection of their playful personalities — Alexey proposed during a Liverpool vs. Manchester United game, promising to pop the question if Liverpool won. When Brie’s team pulled off a stunning 7-0 victory, Alexey kept his word, proposing right on the couch. As homebodies who cherish each other’s company, it was the perfect moment for them.
The morning of the wedding day was calm and relaxed as the girls were getting glam eagerly awaiting the big I do. Our team delivered Brieanna’s bridal bouquet and it was immediately a hit! The design was a vibrant reflection of the tropical setting, featuring rich, bold colors that perfectly complemented her moody bohemian style. The bouquet was a lush mix of tropical greens, yellow and orange florals, with touches of red and minimal pops of pink. The standout detail was the playful inclusion of mini pineapples nestled among the blooms, adding a whimsical touch to the unique arrangement. The flowers brought an island-inspired energy to the day, contrasting beautifully with the natural and moody color palette of the wedding, which included dark greens, earthy tones, and black accents for a modern twist.
Their dream I do took place at Pangas Beach Club in Costa Rica, blending the natural beauty of the tropical setting with a rich, moody design. The vows were exchanged under a beautifully decorated wood arch, adorned with tropical foliage and flowers that mimicked the sunset. A boho rug laid underfoot as they shared lifelong promises with one another.
For cocktail hour, guests enjoyed fresh coconuts served from a wooden boat, setting the tone for the relaxed, tropical celebration ahead. A lush green photo wall with a neon “Pura Vida” sign was set up beside the Polaroid guest book, offering guests a fun spot to capture memories of the day.
After the ceremony, the couple headed to the beach for photos. A fun twist came when they took a memorable set of photos on horses, capturing the stunning scenery and their adventurous spirits.
The reception tables were a stunning blend of bohemian elegance and tropical charm. Dark, moody plates created a striking contrast against the natural wooden tables, while vibrant amber and black glassware added rich pops of color. Each table was decorated with lush greenery and terracotta accents, perfectly tying together the earthy and tropical elements of the day. Tapered candles in muted tones and soft votive lighting brought a warm, romantic glow to the setting, creating an intimate yet stylish atmosphere for the celebration.
