‘An Ode to Love’ Valentine’s Day Wedding Inspiration by Lauren New Photography

With Valentines day, just round the corner, I felt it only right to bring a bit of extra romance to the blog this week with a few valentines day related styled shoots and weddings, starting off with this gorgeous submission from Lauren New Photography. The shoot took place in January 2026 at theBindery Tacoma, in Washington State. ‘An Ode to Love’ is romantic, warm, bursting with pink detailing and an abundance of flowers. It brings together Valentines day wedding inspiration, mixed with cool tablescape ideas, as well as a classy ceremony, followed by a fun reception vibe.

Lauren the photographer tells us more about the shoot

This shoot was designed with Valentine’s Day in mind, inspired by candlelit romance, cascading florals, and layered, intentional details. As a wedding professional who truly loves love, I wanted to create a heartfelt, editorial setting that felt indulgent rather than themed. The tablescape was designed as a table within a table, using four serpentine tables to create a hollow center with a raised middle tier for floral artistry. Lush florals spilled and climbed throughout the space, while pearls, soft draping, and warm candlelight added depth and movement. Place settings featured romantic names inspired by mythological figures of love, creating a subtle narrative woven through the design.

Romantic details carried through every moment of the day, from heart-shaped coupe glasses used for a champagne tower to chocolate-covered strawberries styled as a playful nod to Valentine’s tradition. Mixed candle heights, sculptural florals, and fashion-forward bridal styling balanced elegance with personality, allowing the space to feel intimate and expressive. Couples drawn to this romantic look might also enjoy documenting their own love story in a creative way — whether through a styled session or a fun self-portrait experience with Studio Pod — as a beautiful and meaningful way to celebrate an engagement or Valentine’s Day. Rather than aiming for perfection, the goal was to create an atmosphere that felt emotional, artful, and alive.
