Pink Loving Valentines Shoot For the Modern Fun Loving Bride

Happy Valentines day everyone, how is your day of love going so far? Today I am spending the day with my favourite boy Dexter, we are off on a cinema date, then this evening it’s the turn of my favourite man and a romantic night in for two! To celebrate this day of love and to make it extra special, I have this super cute and fun pink loving Valentines shoot courtesy of Starry Eyed Weddings and Nathalie Delente. The shoot took place earlier this month at Norton Mandeville and All Saint Church in Ongar, Essex. It’s a twist on the normal red valentines inspiration, as the creative team have gone all pink on us. This modern pink twist brings a young, fresh approach to the whole day, with delicious food, amazing treats and the cutest of couples.

A perfect Valentines Day wedding using every shade of pink. A vintage car and indulgent dessert picnic added luxury and fun!

Creating a romantic shoot, with a loose Valentine’s theme, using vibrant and tonal pinks in place of traditional red.  Multiple shades of blush, rose, fuchsia, pink lemonade, magenta and raspberry set the scene! We wanted to acknowledge Valentine’s day but not using typical red clichés. Also- the use of pink within wedding colour schemes can sometimes feel dated- we wanted to show that pink in all it’s glory can be truly beautiful and look fresh and relevant to todays bride.

I discovered this little church while out running and thought how magical and intimate it was along with the rolling countryside that surrounds it.  We wanted to show couples how wonderful it could be as a pretty countryside setting for their wedding. We are Essex based and are forever flying the flag for creative Essex weddings!

We wanted to show the fun and romance surrounding the shoot.  With the wrapped gifts stacked in the back of the Trojan car, vibrant florals, giant balloons and the 4m handwritten banner billowing in the breeze, the scene was how I imagined it.  The desserts provided by Gather & Feast Events were spectacular and the single tier wedding cake with raspberry, plum and pink sugar blooms finished with a delicate silver leaf from Egg & Moos, was quite literally the icing on the cake!
