‘Valentines Boho’ Romantic Red Wedding Inspiration For an Outdoor Valentines Elopement

Happy Valentines day everyone! I hope you are all being suitably spoilt by your other half, or even spoiling each other! So today is meant to be the most romantic day of the year? Do you agree or disagree? Will you be celebrating this evening? Or is it just another day? After 17 years together Nik and I have stopped doing presents and we are just doing cards this year. We have ordered a meal from a wedding caterer that I work with a lot, so at least neither of us have to cook tonight. I’ve taken the night of work, so we can have some time together a few glasses of wine and at least try and be romantic! I’d love to know your plans. As it’s valentines day I thought today was the perfect day to show you this stunning red shoot that I have been sent, isn’t it adorable! The shoot took place at Moncks Corner in South Carolina last year. It is bursting with every shade of red under the sun, super romantic! The styling is so unique, filled with so many wonderful ideas. And as for the couple they look amazing in all their outfit changes. Big thanks to N Mickle Photography for the lovely images and to Something Borrowed K&S for the super romantic submission.

Red monochromatic, romantic elopement shoot

Although this color pallet is far from the norm, we just adored styling with the dark and moody reds, maroon and plum colors. Using a variety of shades adds so much texture and dimension to this already beautiful backdrop. We selected our most eclectic designers and rentals for this one of a kind opportunity. The fresh flowers mixed with the vibrant textures of the tables sets such a dreamy and romantic mood. The white dress and suit simply pop in front of such a dramatic background. Wardrobe changes were a must when you work with some of the most talented clothing and jewelry collectors around. We couldn’t keep our eyes off this gorgeous couple and their extremely well thought out vintage designer looks. We love the surprising pops of the wild and unexpected while still being able to maintain the vintage romantic vibe.
