Natalia and Jose's Peony Loving Elegant and Romantic 17th Century Palace Wedding in Spain by Rock and Love Weddings

Happy Friday everyone and how are you all? Well this weekend is officially the start of Christmas, as it’s the 1st December on Sunday, our decorations are going up and from now on every day is Christmas jumper day. The last 2 weekends I have done something Christmas related but non the less now I can celebrate in style and really get stuck into the Christmas festivities. However before I can adorn the house in tinsel, lets get stuck into todays stunning Spanish wedding. Natalia and Jose were married on 22nd June 2024 at Iglesia de San Nicolas, Cantabria Spain. The whole day is like a fairy-tale, a 17th century palace, so romantic and so elegant. Natalie is a massive lover of peonies, so the wedding ceremony and reception were filled with 1000’s of these beautiful flowers in soft pinks and creams. the whole day is totally magnificent and captured beautifully by Rock and Love Weddings.

Capturing love stories is always a privilege, but shooting at Palacio Helguera in Spain was a dream come true. The rich history and architectural grandeur provided a breath-taking backdrop for every shot and every frame told a story of timeless romance. It was an honour to document such a beautiful celebration in a place so steeped in history and elegance.

The bride is a Spaniard influencer and her dress was for us the most iconic and beloved wedding dress. This dress exemplifies her signature style with its ethereal and romantic design. Crafted from layers, the dress has a soft and airy appearance. The use of multiple layers adds depth and movement.

The flowers were truly a sight to behold, inspired by the bride’s favourite flower, peonies. The entire floral arrangement paid homage to her well-known blog, @misspeonnies, featuring peonies in every imaginable shade and arrangement. From the bouquet to the centrepieces, and even delicate floral accents on the cake, flowers were everywhere, creating a romantic and enchanting atmosphere. All the flowers added a touch of elegance and personal significance to the celebration, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone present.
