Riley and Caitlyn’s ‘Shades of Blue’ Romantic Wedding in California by Linsey Middleton Photography

Happy Friday everyone and Merry Christmas!! I feel it’s OK to say that now it’s officially December! The advent calendar has been started, the Christmas jumpers are back in the wardrobe and I have a diary full of Christmas activities planned! I am SO Excited! This weekend we are going to a Victorian Christmas Market, then we are putting up our decorations and on Sunday we are doing Christmas at Chatsworth, inside the house and then outside for the evening light show. I hope you have something super festive planned! So on with today’s wedding and it’s the turn of Caitlyn and Riley who were married on 29th February 2020 in Bakersfield, California. They had an elegant but modern day, in a celebration of all things blue. This colour scheme looks great against the white chairs, keeping this wedding in California fresh, clean and full of style, along with some amazing looking flowers. Big thanks to Linsey Middleton Photography for the lovely photos and to Fairy Godmother a Wedding & Event Company for the gorgeous submission.

Colleen the wedding designer tells us more

Talk about fifty shades of blue, from the icy hues to the rich regal tones, this wedding highlights just how versatile this colour truly is. Against the backdrop of this Southern California country club wedding, this couple opted for a more whimsical approach to their big day. Featuring soft creamy elements from the dress, cake, and florals, paired with the bold pops of colour, this wedding gave us the right sort of wedding blues.
