What made you start your business?
Before EventLive, Julia was a destination wedding photographer who saw many couples heartbroken over having to choose between their dream wedding location and including all loved ones. Mark, with over two decades of experience as a software engineer, is passionate about solving real-world problems. Together, they founded EventLive to allow families and communities to remotely participate in life’s most important moments, guided by the principles of Privacy, Family, and Simplicity. They believed a simple app could bring people closer by enabling remote participation in significant events.

When did you start?
We started EventLive in 2019, about six months before the pandemic.

Where are you based?
Our app works all around the world!

What is your biggest achievement so far?
EventLive helped over 20000 couples to live stream their weddings and bring the families closer.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
We adore giving everyone a virtual front row seat so they can feel present and part of the magic as it unfolds.

Can you give me some information on your pricing structure?
Our pricing is very simple, it’s a one time fee of $69 USD per event.  You will receive a beautifully designed custom event page, digital guestbook, online hosting for one year and much more.

What can you never leave the house without?
My phone.  As a technology company, we have to make sure everything is up and running 24/7.

If you weren’t running your business, what would you be doing?
Destination wedding photography.  I was a wedding photographer for over 12 years and love every single wedding I had the honour to document.
