Happy 1st December everyone, I hope you are all well and happy and starting to get into the Christmas spirit? As it is now December, for me it’s officially Christmas, although it’s been Christmas for a week already in our house! The Christmas jumpers have had a dusting off and the Christmas earrings are on and we are good to go! Tonight we are off to see Disney on ice, which should be amazing! Then tomorrow in contrast to Disney, Nik and I are off to Manchester for a hacienda reunion night at The Warehouse project. Sunday if I am awake enough we are off to the Victorian Christmas market, so a very busy weekend all round. First though I have the wedding of Ansley and Salem who were married on 26th March 2022 at El Chante in Costa Rica. They held an intimate wedding, with muted tones and natural shades of green and cream. An adventure weekend where all the guests could take part in a variety of exciting activities, which was perfect for this adventures couple. In March of 2022, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Ansley + Salem exchanged vows at the idyllic El Chante, a sanctuary of serenity nestled amidst the Costa Rican landscape. Their micro wedding exuded an intimate charm, where love blossomed against a backdrop of lush greens and nature’s embrace. To ensure Ansley + Salem experienced the wedding of their dreams, our team meticulously crafted a series of unforgettable adventures for them and their cherished guests. From exhilarating canopy ziplining and captivating golfing experiences to the awe-inspiring wonders of a snorkelling tour, we immersed them in the splendour of Costa Rica’s natural wonders.
When we embarked on the journey of designing their wedding, we dove deep into their personal style and preferences. Ansley + Salem’s love for vintage treasures and antiquing inspired us to infuse their special day with an effortless elegance, blending classic staples with a touch of contemporary flair. Their favourite colours, neutrals, and greens, set the stage for a clean, chic, and subtly bohemian ambiance, mirroring their own simplistic yet refined tastes.
The atmosphere of their wedding day had a laid-back yet intentional ambiance. Cream and beige textured textiles adorned the ceremony space, creating an atmosphere of understated sophistication. The wedding arbour was a beautiful free-standing wood arbour draped in flowing fabric. The bridal bouquet exuded a wildflower charm, evoking a sense of simplicity and romance. Ansley, escorted by her parents, glided down the aisle, radiating confidence and grace.
The poolside deck provided the perfect setting for their dinner and heartfelt reception. Moments of pure joy and celebration followed as the newlyweds and their exuberant guests plunged into the pool during an unforgettable after-party.
