If you are currently planning or thinking about holding a tipi wedding then today’s styled shoot is for you. Filled with the most gorgeous decoration, the most delightful flowers, a totally jaw dropping cake and the most wonderful couple, this shoot is just a bundle of goodness to cheer up this grey October morning. The shoot took place on 20th May 2021 at Coppins Farm, Essex and was put together by Aimée from One Oake and a team of first class Essex wedding suppliers.
The group of suppliers involved in this shoot (minus venue) are all part of the Essex Wedding Team, which was formed in April 2020. We joined forces to put together a Win your Wedding competition for one NHS couple to show our thanks for their hard work during the pandemic. Their wedding finally took place in March this year and was beautiful!
We wanted to put on another shoot (first was Sept 2020) to all have a chance to get creative and work together while the wedding industry was still on pause.
As restrictions on the wedding industry at the time of the shoot, we wanted to focus on an outside wedding venue where we could show distancing could be implemented if required without comprising on style etc. The inspiration was focused on foraged foliage for the floral designs as everything was being more rationed at the time.
We chose to put on this shoot to show diversity for the wedding industry and wanted to make sure we had a diverse couple represented, who were also a real couple to be at the forefront. We wanted to showcase this as we felt while this is increasing there isn’t enough editorials that showcase diversity.
