'Wild Femininity' - Springtime Elegance, Dreamy and Colourful Wedding Inspiration

The sun has been shining here in the UK over the past few days and it at last feels like summer is on it’s way. So much so that I thought it’s the perfect time to share this spring time styled shoot with you. The shoot took place on Sunday 17^th March 2024 at The Owl Barn, Little Seed Field, Ripon in North Yorkshire. It is full to the brim with the most gorgeous spring pastels, stunning flowers, gorgeous table scape and of course not one but two beautiful brides, who are clearly very much in love. This shoot encompasses everything that a spring wedding can be, scroll on for some first class inspiration.

We wanted to create something a little different to the more neutral palettes that are popular in weddings. We explored the freer, boho feeling of a flower meadow and how this could be incorporated into a wedding with elegance. We were excited to put together a shoot for ourselves and collaborate with other local suppliers to create something beautiful.

The inspiration behind our shoot was to create something that felt joyful, relaxed and full of colour and femininity. We wanted it to feel like a spring meadow, a celebration which evoked the beginning of a new season in all its glory.

We wanted the experience of planning a shoot, directing suppliers and working together to achieve a shared vision. We definitely feel we accomplished this and we were absolutely delighted with how the day went and our captures from the day.
