‘Spring Euphoria’ Modern Day Wedding Inspiration

Today I have the most gorgeous styled shoot for you, that brings about the change we have seen in the wedding world since Covid hit. Times have moved on now, the wedding world is more about inclusivity, being eco aware, concentrating on the small details and more intimate ceremony. Celebrating all that is innovative, personal and aesthetically pleasing, this styled shoot that took place on 24th February 2022 at Dana Warp Mill in Westbrook, Maine is an absolute delight. Bursting with spring freshness, as the colours burst out of each image, the overall feel of the shoot is young, edgy, romantic and hopeful. It has been submitted by Michelle Glassman from Petalage and captured beautifully by Jessie Felix Photography

Michelle the florist tells us more about the shoot

The landscape of weddings has changed drastically in the past two years. We were faced with a situation where we weren’t able to gather. I believe that brought about more innovative & intimate ways to get married. We wanted to celebrate the new wave of the modern-day wedding whether it be in the form of an elopement, backyard wedding, a typical venue such as a mill building or brewery, restaurant, your home, etc..
Spring Euphoria is a representation of inclusivity, self-expression, spring, art, rebirth, the beauty of adaption, and all the wonderful changes that seasonality brings to the State of Maine.
We came together to create an abundance of details within a small, industrious, & intimate environment. Our tablescape hosted handmade ceramics, tapered candles, curated decor, nature inspired cake, climbing Italian Ruscus, simplistic calligraphy, florally cocktails, and a dazzling array of colours represented throughout the flowers. Our couple was a real couple that emulated the sincere joy & young romance that we wanted to capture in this stylized shoot at the Dana Warp Mills in Westbrook, ME.
