Happy Friday everyone and how are you all? Have you got that Friday feeling? It’s been a manic week here at Boho HQ, so so busy! This weekend Dexter is away at beaver camp and Nik and I are off to Manchester to see Diversity, which I am super excited about. Tickets are from two years ago and with what seems a million rearrangements because of Covid, we are finally going to see them. What about you? Any weddings to go to? Maybe you are getting married yourself? If so then a massive congratulations! To end the week I have the gorgeous modern wedding of Patti and Tom who were married on 16th October 2021 in Denver, Colorado. They held their ‘For the Love of Art’ modern wedding in an art gallery. This really gave the wedding that modern, edgy vibe they were looking for. With amazing decoration (got to love a glitter ball or two!), and fantastic flowers, this wedding is super stylish and full of love. Big thanks to Kaitlin Shea Weddings & Events for the submission and to Jaqueline Castillo Photography for the photos.
Patti and Tom, a relationship 16 years in the making, waited 511 days for their wedding day, and boy was it worth the wait! Every detail, design and moment from the day oozed Patti and Tom as a couple, and it left the guests (and vendors) speechless at Denver’s Space Gallery Museum.
Due to multiple postponements of their wedding date because of COVID, this couple was holding out to have an all-out celebration for their wedding day to be with all of their family and friends. While working with Patti and Tom in the months leading up to their final wedding date, they made it a priority to have a colourful wedding with a little funk thrown in, and what better place to host than an art gallery! Patti is a TV producer and Tom is a lawyer, so we knew that we were in for a killer crowd to help them celebrate.
Patti and Tom were able to make the ceremony so personal to them by including some of their best friends to sing while their family, friends, and dogs walked down the aisle. Patti made the fringe leashes for the dogs herself which gave the ceremony an added touch of pizazz! The rest of the day flowed from one conversation to the next as guests mingled, enjoyed delicious (and gorgeous) food at the stations placed around the venue. This was what Patti and Tom envisioned. All of their closest family and friends in one beautiful place, eating good food, getting down on the dance floor, and celebrating their long overdue wedding day.
