‘Beach Boho’ Secluded Mexican Beach Wedding Inspiration

Happy Friday everyone, I hope you are doing well and looking forward to the bank holiday ahead! The weekend starts today for me, as Dexter is off school for half term. We are going out for the day and I can’t wait! The rest of the weekend we have stuff booked in and on Monday we have Nik’s family coming round for a BBQ, at last it isn’t forecast for rain! What about you, have you got much planned for the bank holiday weekend? I am finishing off the week dreaming of beach holidays and teasing you with this stunning Mexican beach wedding styled shoot. It looks like more countries will be added to the green list soon, so hopefully all those destination weddings can still happen. And what better place for a destination wedding than Mexico. These gorgeous images are testimony to that! The shoot took place at Luna Cabo in Los Cabos in Mexico on 8th July 2020 and it is just wonderful. It’s laid back, intimate, full of amazing decor, gorgeous pops of pink and the most gorgeous couple. Big thanks to AnnaGomesPhoto for the dreamy images.

Anna the photographer tells us more about the shoot.

The idea was for this beach wedding set up to showcase a really intimate more like an elopement type of wedding and to make it timeless and safe in times of Covid.
We picked this villa for its particular location on a really private community and secluded beach for that same reason. Most of the couples are looking for stunning outdoor venues so they still get dream wedding pictures while putting their guests safety first and casa Captiva offers it all.

This styled shoot showcases how luxury and natural beauty are unlimited with the right design concept and venue. We included three design setups. For the ceremony, just a few feet away from the calm waters of the Cortez Sea, the boho-chic theme was made of natural sandy tones in a mix of woods, leather and terracotta vases, pampas grass and dry flowers. The triangular arch paired with white and caramel equipale barrel chairs with a jute mat aisle looks perfect right next to beautiful rock formations that Cabo is known for.

Although the wedding idea was really intimate and the beach really big the teepee allowed to make the setup more cozy and easily applicable for elopements, honeymoon celebrations or engagements. Teepees are great for bigger size weddings as well, because it’s possible to space out tall tables making it possible to social distancing while not compromising the design. The picnic setup is luscious with details and pinks and golds, while jute lanterns hang above the comfy arrangement.

The neutral colors are always a favorite for the beach but we wanted to remember that we were in Mexico adding this pop of hot pink reminding the bougainvilleas colors and strong pinks seen in Mexican arts. For the final setup, a lounge area for cocktail hour by the villa’s pool kept with the boho-chic theme and colors.
