Hello there and Happy Monday! I am back from a week away on the sunny...
So today is the day that I do my ‘Trash the Dress’ shoot, and quite frankly I am beside myself with excitement!!
My wedding dress has been hung up in my spare room since I got married last June, unwashed and quite frankly redundant. I know I need to get it cleaned and packed away but it all seems such a shame, I only had it on for a few hours!
So I have decided to give it another airing before it gets packed up and sent up into the loft never to be seen again.
On a personal level I love having my picture taken, I have no idea why, I am incredibly self critical and more often than not don’t actually like any of the pictures taken of me, but you could never call me camera shy. So I thought a Trash the dress shoot would be the perfect way to get one more wear out of my dress and get some beautiful pictures in the process.
While thinking about where I wanted to do the shoot and how I wanted it to look, I decided that I wanted something completely different to my wedding, kind of the opposite, so I have decided to do it on a farm!……….Yes I really am going to Trash it!!
I have an image of mud, cows, chickens…..and hopefully some really funny and artistic pictures at the end of it.
I love animals and I decided that I definitely wanted to incorporate them into it somehow, so we’ll see what happens tonight!!
But all this couldn’t be possible on my own, I have called in a few favours from people and everyone involved has been fantastic! so a HUGE thank you to the following:
Jon from S6 Photography – Photography
Catherine Elizabeth – Hair and Make-up
Our Cow Molly Farm – Venue
Debbie Carlisle Bouquets – Vintage Bouquets
Lobster Love – Handmade bracelet
Queens and Bowl Earings
Tayberry – Wellies
So fingers crossed that the weather stays good, I can’t wait to share the images with you.
