Happy Friday everyone, I hope you are looking forward to the weekend. I am SO excited as not only is it Mother’s Day but it is also my Birthday weekend! It’s my birthday on Monday so we are out on Saturday night for a lovely meal and cocktails, and then carrying the festivities through to Monday, so a fun 3 days ahead! To finish off the week I have this beautiful bright and cheerful Boho wedding from Georgia. It’s the wedding of Rae Lynn and Kevin who were married at Vinewood Plantation. Its’s a day full of stunning flowers, eclectic decoration and some really beautiful details. It’s such a lovely cheerful wedding, the perfect way to finish off the week. Thanks to Six Hearts Photography for the images.

Rae Lynn and Kevin were an incredibly fun couple. Their wedding was Bohemian and their ceremony took place in the rain. Complete with flower crowns and sweet love, their wedding will leave you swooning. Rae Lynn and Kevin describe themselves as Creative, laid back and adventurous, so they wanted to host a wedding that showcased those qualities, with the perfect amount of Boho to go along.
More From The Couple
We had the barn decorated with mismatched china, stemware and silverware. We rented antique lamps and string lights with clear bulbs to create the right ambiance and positioned a beautiful lounge with vintage furniture near the dance floor. Bunting hung over the dance floor and all together it looked magical. Overlaying everything were the florals, which really made our wedding pop with all the bright colored flowers, including the girl’s head crowns, bouquets and the guy’s boutonnieres. The beautiful flowers on the altar and the tables in the reception area were a mix of bright colors kept fresh in an interesting collection of containers. The flowers definitely brought everything together. Knowing I wanted to wear flat shoes I found a perfect pair on Etsy from Beholden Bridal. You pick out the color shoes, pearls and crystals and they design it. They were my ‘something blue’. In keeping with the casual theme, we opted for a BBQ, then for desert, we decided on a sweets table, with a wedding cake, heart shaped rice crispy treats, small cupcakes, chocolate covered pretzels and ice cream. Looking back, I would not have changed a single thing about our wedding!
Yay, love the bright and rustic vibe. The flowers especially (both bouquets and table arrangements) are so cute!
