Vintage Rose - Luxury Wedding Stationery

Today I would like to introduce you to the lovely Sarah-Jane from Vintage Rose. Sarah is the creator of this luxury wedding stationery brand and has been creating stationery for the past 4-5 years. Inspiration for Vintage Rose wedding invitation designs comes from my love of all things vintage, in particular, the beautiful stationery from yesteryear that may have a romantic, sad or very happy story for you to ponder over. A rummage at an Antiques Fair provides me with many a happy hour and plenty of new ideas and it feels really satisfying to be able to bring an old item or design to life again for today’s brides to enjoy.

What made you start your business?
Working as a project manager for a global corporation was not fulfilling my creative needs and so a hobby became a full time job, naturally, starting from making wedding invitations for family and friends. I started on a professional basis in 2008 and am based in Sussex.

What sort of geographical area do you cover?
Nationally and I have also had brides from Australia and the US as customers.

How would you describe your style?
Rustic Vintage or shabby chic, aiming to provide an alternative wedding stationery choice for brides that are not looking for traditional invitations

What makes you different to your competitors?
I want guests to be wowed when they open our wedding invitations, it is after all, the first impression they will have of a wedding. I constantly strive for quality, using only the best, environmentally friendly materials, seeking local suppliers that can guarantee standards. All my stationery is handmade with loving care and great deal of attention is paid to the luxurious finish because I want my wedding invitations to be the best. All my invitations are all made using a high quality, heavyweight card so that they feel as luxurious as they look. All of the invites are available with matching lined envelopes for that special finishing touch.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love creating new designs.

Can you give me some information on your pricing structure?
I know brides are on a tight budget, so I have a low base price, with invitations start from £2.00, but also have additional extras like lined envelopes or hand finished lace invitations for brides that are looking for something a little more luxurious.
