Saturday 26th June was this years Sheffield Pride and my involvement was running the Civil Partnership tent. I took the job on not really realising how much of a huge undertaking it was, from the tent rental to booking the entertainment, to organising the LIVE wedding. However me being me couldn’t do a job by halves so in the end it seemed to take over my life!!
The day was amazing, hot, busy but fantastic, my legs are still aching from all the running around, but it really was a fabulous day!
Everyone of the exhibitors was fantastic, the live entertainment was fabulous, the fashion show and the wedding of Bella and Lorna was perfect.
I will write up a full review of the day very soon once I have the official photographs back from In the Pink Photography but for now I just wanted to give you a before and after shot of the tent itself.
A lot of hard work from everyone involved was put into making the day a success, but I think the results show that is was worth it!
Coming up this week on the blog will be more pictures of the day itself, highlights from the very popular photo booth area and the wedding of Bella and Lorna.
